Love the view and food. Staff are friendly. It’s just it’s take time to serve the food. We ordered their summer menu, £30 for 3 courses plus a glass of Pelorus wine. Recommend to dine at their terrace. We had a lovely evening/dinner by looking at the sunset.
We have dined here twice in recent weeks, and on both occasions I found the service professional, attentive and generally to a high standard. The bar area has a great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff, my Vespar was fantastic. The views from the restaurant are outstanding and the seating comfortabl
Always go there for afternoon tea, great options, good price, unlimited tea or coffee. They were very helpful in meeting our dietary requirements, and were quick to make adjustments
Great food and and amazing terrace. The summer menu was delicious. The prices are high as expected, for example I wouldn't pay £15 for an aubergine salad but the 3 course summer menu for £28 including cocktails is well priced considering the location and quality. The staff was well paced and things
Beautiful place to relax mid shop, particularly on a beautiful day
Great place to eat and drink. The cocktails here are expertly made and taste amazing. Great outdoor area to sit and watch the world go by on the street below. The bar staff were polite, prompt and well presented. The prices were on par with similar establishments in the area. To get to the bar, walk
Visited here a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. 3 course set menu with a cocktail £28. Fantastic value and the food was superb. Cocktails were some of the best we've had in a long time. The picture of the pork belly main dish doesn't do it justice, it was wonderful. Great views across Edin
The place is amazing, the food is good, a bit expansive tho
First time back in a while and had a lovely time for lunch. Nice buzz on a Friday lunchtime. Can highly recommend the Thai fish cakes.
Called in for a browse around the clothing on a day trip into Edinburgh and decided to have a cuppa and a cake. Friendly professional staff serving a good choice of teas, coffees and one of the best carrot cakes we have eaten all at surprisingly affordable prices.😁 Lovely ambience and great views ov
Afternoon tea was lovely. Selection of savoury and sweet food was delicious and something a bit different from sandwiches. Unlimited teas and coffees. Service was outstanding, very professional and attentive. Views from the rooftop are of course a huge plus for this venue too.
Super nice view and great drinks selection
We wanted to take time to thank the staff and manager of Harvey Nichols Fourth Floor bar and restaurant for a fabulous evening last night. We had just been out at another establishment on The Mound and received foul food and service. Therefore, the service we received was a breath of fresh air by co
Highly recommend a visit for lunch, very tasty fresh, elegant food. Service was quick, attentive and very friendly. Must visit for the view over Andrew square if visiting Edinburgh for a few days. Great also as a brunch place with excellent drink options.
The Forth Floor is a delight in the afternoon/early evening around sunset. It has a balcony and great views overlooking St. Andrews Square, and down towards the coast at New Haven. There is a great selection of cocktails and fizz, though prices, as one might expect, can be quite high. Worth a visit
