An amazing experience whether shopping for home or dining in house. The food is excellent and the portions are just right sized. The wine list is fantastic and the staff attentive. Understand why this is a top rated restaurant!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good range of high quality authentic Italian produce as well as quality fare from out with Italy.

Great to be back. Had to get taxis there and back but coffee and bacon roll excellent staff helpful and knowledgeable. Got some great wine at affordable prices. Will be wonderful when tram workers stop leaning on shovels and finally clear up their mess. Viva Elm Row!

The outside has a small entrance but don't be deceived! The shop runs deep and hidden at the back is a cafe serving food and breakfast. Valvona & Crolla has a very interesting history and sells books by the author Mary Contini who is part of the family that runs the shop.

Authentic Italian produce directly imported for a real Italian deli/food and larder experience. It's like walking off Edinburgh's Leith Walk through a magical door into a "grocers" in Italy. Super restaurant / cafe too. Lovely people great service. Don't miss it.

I love this place. Visually very nice, there is a lot of quality stuff. Awesome cheese selection. If I could leave with a whole wheel I would do it without hesitation! I would love to find more French cheese there. But it's already great. You are at the top !

Asked some friends for a great lunch spot as its our Aniversary weekend and was recommended to visit Valvona & Crolla.. Could not have been happier. Mooch in the shop, browse the goodies then fabulous lunch and wine.. Can't wait to come back.

This store is a food lover's paradise, offering a wide variety of high-quality Italian and Mediterranean food products, as well as a deli counter, wine and cheese shop, and café! If we lived in Edinburgh we would be hitting this place up weekly! 🧀
