Nice, atmospheric place to grab a coffee, brunch, lunch or dinner. The staff is pleasant and friendly, easy to chat up. I only had brunch, which's menu is rather limited. The portions are a bit small, but the dishes are inexpensive. Their coffee is tasty, and there is no extra charge for alternative
I came here for my first taste of Scottish Cuisine, so I got the full breakfast. It came with all the classics of a standard full breakfast and then some, with some tasty additions such as haggis and a potato scone. All the items were very well cooked and I was left pleasantly satiated afterwards!
Our server was Matthew! He was lovely and attentive. Having just come from London where the food is so pricey and hit or miss in terms of “yumminess”, this was a little oasis. We spent £40 and had soda, coffee, tomato soup, one starter, one main dish, and one dessert. Portions are generous and food
👌Delicious food. 👌Friendly staff. 👌Free wifi. 👌Super clean toilet. 👌Lovely decoration. 👌Cozy atmosphere.👌Food/ cake/ coffee/ alcoholic drink It's super nice to go away from the crowded area of Edinburgh a bit. The food taste and price are reasonable. And this place is not far from the entrance to A
Amazing cocktails, excellent food even if a bit pricey, hence the 4 stars. The Moving Mountains veggie burger was £15 the Smashed Burger Melt £11. Nice decor and the window sit was nice.
Great place to work from for the whole day! Crew is very helpful, honest and friendly. I'm going back tomorrow!
A different menu with more unusual dishes but pretty tasty. Nice little restaurant in a great area of town.
Southpour was always an amazing place to visit and the corner location over the busy junction mesmerises you with the constant flow of people and cars. We came to Southpour for brunch on a Saturday noon. Beautiful place and very friendly environment to enjoy your Saturday. We were a bit lost with t
It was pretty good. Only complaint would be the smash burger, it was laughable how small the beef patties were. Typically I imagine a smash burger's patties to be wide and flat. Flavor was fine.
Great food, excellent service. Has some very nice wine. There is a nice view for people watching out the windows. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere. We loved it and had a very nice time. Would come again next time we are in Edinburgh.
Such a cozy place, perfect for the rainy days. The service was amazing, Sima made us the most amazing cinnamon coffee. And very good prices.Greetings from Caracal.
Walked in on a cold, wet, windy evening to find a warm welcoming atmosphere. Great food, lovely drinks and friendly knowledgable staff. Jemma with a J and Barry with a B were fantastic and the slow cooked pork belly was outstanding.
Had the Benedict egg and avocado toast, it’s the best meal I’ve had in town so far (and I’m picky). The avocado one is served with pistachios on top and perfectly cooked cherry tomatoes (very good mix) the poached eggs are also very well done. It’s good job! The place is also very nice. Only bad poi
Just popped in for drinks with friends and was impressed immediately. There was a live singer, the atmosphere was chilled. There was a really good selection or spirits beers and wines to choose from and the staff were super friendly. What I liked most was it wasnt over crowded and it was clean and t
the place is really lovely, like the waiters and the food. I’ve done a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice to meet you
