The Huxley - Edinburgh - Photo album

A gorgeous breakfast with lots to watch out the window if you desire. We were here around 11am on a Saturday during the festival, the place was busy. Lovely music and atmosphere created with happy staff and customers alike. Had the smashed avo and my partner had the French toast with bacon and syrup
Pretty good. We got the halloumi fries which were delicious. We also got the buttermilk chicken with waffles, the chicken was great, but the waffles were too dense. And finally we got the mac & cheese bites, we had never tried anything like it before and it was good.
We were here on the Edinburgh Gin tasting tour. It was a fantastic experience. We can taste very delicious gin and we heard useful information about gin making. The place was very cozy.
Food was spot on. Really tasty. Everyone was happy with the food, but we did wait quite a long time for the plates to arrive.. in all we must have waited 50 mins. The mini sliders were great.
Came here for dinner a few weeks ago and the food was great! We had the lobster roll special and it was amazing. I asked to substitute the fries for salad, which they accommodated. Our waiter, Samuel, was wonderful. Very cheerful, pleasant, and lovely all around! Would definitely recommend!
Great vibe and excellent service. A couple of old friends and I went here for drinks and enjoyed some delicious cocktails. Among the best long island ice t's I've come across 👌 we were served by a really nice guy called Kyle. Excellent service from him. Highly recommend. *We didn't have the food so
The art on the walls leaves much to be desired, but the food is good and the people are nice. We went here twice during our month long stay. The price is great especially doing the 3 for £18. The Baja fish tacos are delicious.
Wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend the Egg Royale. The small plate bites aren't as great so pass those. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Definitely could eat breakfast here every morning and feel fulfilled.
Very nice bar and restaurant. Drinks were great, food was delicious and the service was also impeccable. Highly recommend.
Five of us visited The Huxley for our 31st Night Dinner during our stay in Edinburgh December 2022. The ambiance was definitely inviting and cosy. The staff were very friendly. Since we had a booking we were quickly shown to our table. The menu was packed full of interesting food choices. Five of ch
Situated in a beautiful corner between Haymarket and Princes St, the Huxley is a cost atmosphere for breakfast and brunch. The staff are friendly and the food is exceptionally good for what it is; elevated pub grub. Fish and chips, burgers, the like. However this is where they fall short. The menu
Fantastic views of the city life, great inexpensive food, and creative cocktails - highly recommended. The “hot dog” was tasty, but if you’re American, it’s not what you’d expect 😃 (and they put catchup on it). Try the earl grey martini!
The breakfast here is so good!!! I was very impressed. The location is perfect and there are views of the castle so it's really lovely inside. I thought the price was okay for the good quality of the food.
We had lunch here on our 10th anniversary. Got 2 glasses of prosecco which was so nice. Burgers and hotdog were very very tasty, the parmesan fries a bit boring. The dessert with brownie and smores etc was AMAZING!!!
