I highly recommend White Hart for a proper Scottish meal. Book a reservation on their website during the busy season to ensure you can get a table as sea
Great place in the center of a nice square full of great pubs and places to eat. A moments walk from Edinburgh Castle. This place has a lot of character. Good beer and friendly establishment. Supposedly the oldest pub in Edinburgh.
Worth a stop for a drink and some delicious steak pies! Fun atmosphere with talented live music in a historical location. Can’t beat that. Get there early the pies sell out!
A great small cosy pub that hosts around 25/30 people sitting. A widd range of beers, and whisky to choose from The bar staff was stand out! Kind and had a good laugh with them!
It's one of the oldest bar in Edinburgh which has really amazing food collection and beer over that really amazing, they have amazing cask ales. The best bitter is actually one to go with. It's cosy and warm. They have cask strength whiskies as well.
Tourist trap so came in today place was amazing. Best service the manager was outstanding, serving tourists at the table even though it’s a pub recommending whiskies and gins to a bigger table. 100% best service and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the haggis I had plus the pint of best, thank you!
Lovely pub, historic, good pub food especially the haggis and great service. Staff very attentive with tourists too.
This was our first pub in Edinburgh. Ordered a cider and a lager at the bar cause it was a busy place. Once we got a table, we had dinner, of steak and ale pie, haggis, and a bowl of squash and sweet potato soup.
Friendly customer service, food was amazing, cosy but lively atmosphere, id book a table in advance if you want to eat as its inly a small pub but gets very busy! Oldest pub in edinburgh too! Well worth a visit.
Had a wonderful lunch at the whitehart inn. The service was brilliant and helped me decide on a whiskey to try. Had the taste of haggis and steak and ale pie. Both were delicious and beautifully served. Will certainly be back!
What an absolute treat this place was! Came in to get a proper Scottish pub experience and was not disappointed! The staff could not have been more helpful with whisky recommendations and the food was exactly what we were looking for! Suzy was an absolute pleasure to talk to, great atmosphere and th
One of the oldest oubs in Edinburgh. Good pub food. Small kitchen so don't be in a hurry.
Lovely staff and nice selection of beers. Great atmosphere too. Nice old school pub
Great pub, plenty of history, and delicious food. I had haggis (which was really good) and a steak and ale pie (also really good). Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Recommended.
Amazing little pub, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Limited menu options, a bit "pub fare" but very delicious. MUST make reservation.. limited seating and very popular.
The pub is very nice, interior is beautiful, the food and drinks are great, but staff was not interested in making this place to shine, they were just serving and nothing more
Great old pub food and atmosphere with several cask beers on tap along with regular drafts.
