This was such a sweet place to visit - the setting is a room filled with antiques and about 2 or 3 tables for customers. Huge selection of teas -
one pot between two is plenty! The scones are delicious, strawberry jam amazing, but make sure you try the violet jam too!
I got a very welcoming gratitude from the owner. Although I usually brew and drink the chinese pure teas, this place offered me a very soothing flavoured tea (Hazelnut Black), that I'm going to ship the whole bunch back to Korea.
We were searching for traditional afternoon tea in Edinburgh on the Web and saw Anteaques in the top 10 list so decided to try it. Booked by phone as they dont have many tables. My father and I arrived to Edinburgh just in time. Well...
If you love tea you will love Anteaques! A quirky little teashop where you sit among the antiques and enjoy pots of their delicious tea - there are about 100 to choose from! We enjoyed trying their Christmas teas, and accompanied these with a lovely homemade scone and violet jam. You can buy the

Homemade scones and beautiful floral jams, delicious artisan chocolates, and pots of tea... What isn't to like? They don't do a big variety (tea excepted- they do everything) but what they do
