What a great place! Booked a table here as we were seeing a band round the corner, absolutely fantastic staff. Extremely good service, great food, fab selection of beers with samples to help you decide what you'd like to drink. A slight problem solved with no issues and a friendly smile from the manager. Can't wait until we're in Edinburgh to visit again. Thank you 😊

Rapidly becoming one of my favourite bars while I'm in Edinburgh. The staff are courteous and attentive. The beer selection is ever changing and great. They have beers from the Innis and Gunn brewery itself plus guests on tap and in bottle/can. I attended on a Tuesday night where they have a FREE pub quiz where you can win a bar tab for use on another night. I think I will be coming here every time I come to Edinburgh.

Nice place to have a beer and a quick snack. There are a large selection of scottish beer. We had I&G Gunpowder IPA + Schooner I&G Caribbean. They were great. Also a poutine, and it was plenty for two. Kind waitress.

Extravagant interior design, but not tacky. The menu offers both fish and meat, like salmon, chicken and beef. Polite staff members. Food tasty and well presented. The restaurant has an internal bar serving beer, wine and cocktails if you fancy a drink.

Good selection of beers and pretty good food. We had the burgers, poutine, and Scotch egg. Service was disrupted and a bit dismissive due to a large party, though they only filled 1/4 of the pub.

So far, the best brewbar we have visited. A HUGE selection of beers on tap, and their beers are really good! We'll be back!

Nice brewpub with a variety of beers. Their products seemed to be everywhere in town.

Initial service was good and the waitress explained about the beers and wines. I did however have to approach the four staff standing chatting at the bar if we could order food, which did not impress me. All four in our party loved the food and I'd highly recommend the Taproom.

Very friendly staff and reasonably priced menu. The Scotch Egg had no runny yolk sadly, but very well flavored! The light lager hit the spot after a sunny day out.

Amazing staff and vibe; very much a place to be a regular at. The selection here is very wide and has something for everyone ranging from ciders all the way up to cocktails and spirits. Great choices for local brews and specialty whisky’s! Affordable and a great time anytime!

Great bar for craft beer and hearty food. Visited early weekday lunch time, so place was just starting to get busy, but service friendly and efficient. Food cooked to a decent standard and of course there is a wide range of house and guest beers to choose from. There is a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from on the Lothian Road, but you definitely won't go wrong by visiting Innis and Gunn.

Went to do the brew school experience with James as the host. Really enjoyed everything - James was informative and was able to make the experience really good fun. Food was also great and so was the atmosphere. Would definitely come back and recommend both the bar and the brew school experience to others! Thank u :)

I'm not the biggest fan of I&G beer, but the bar serves a wide variety of other craft beer so I thought we'd try it out. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was very good. Definitely worth dropping in as a craft beer fan.

Great beer bar place. Opened from early hours. I had only not even one day to spend in Edinburgh and as beer lover I was looking to taste some local beers, so I was happy to find something opened at the moment. Really nice beer selection. Good service.

Had been gifted the brew school experience and can't express how great it was. Our host Craig was fantastic, with a great knowledge and interest in beer. We were well fed and given a brilliant array of different beers to try - couldn’t be happier.
