Stuart makes the best bacon roll anywhere. Served with plenty of **HP** brown sauce. Makes my mouth water just remembering it.

Also has wifi and a collection of Ingrid's pictures for sale. News papers on the table on a Sunday morning, Lapsang and great hosts - who could need more?

Owners Ingrid and Stuart have done a wonderful job of setting up a cafe in the front room of their art gallery. Interesting selection of cakes and possibly every kind of scone you could think of. The cakes are served with fruit, honey and yoghurt as standard and no extra charge for cream. I highly recommend the pear and cinnamon cake and fresh blueberry scone. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect to escape for some peace and quiet and catching up with friends

Charming wee cafe / gallery with really good food (and rather nice crockery) for a lunch away from the bustle of city centre where you can also admire the artwork on display. While the cakes are very tasty and beautifully presented, the varieties on offer don't change and they can be a little dry.
The owners, Ingrid and Stuart, are a treat.

This has to be one of my favourite places for respite on a Sunday after Stockbridge Market; oh and sometimes for a pre-market bacon butty. With art on the wall (some by artist/owner Ingrid), it's a comfortable place to relax. Stuart is the mastermind behind the baking and his mahoosive scones are infamous throughout the cake community in Edinburgh. His bakes are served with fresh fruit and crème fraîche; no nancy pancy slices here, these are man size wedges. Favourites are beetroot and ginger, plum and just plain ginger with a cracking icing that's not overly sweet. Free wifi keeps net addicts happy. Bon P, as it’s affectionately known, is also home to the Fabbytits mug!

My first ever scone and omg I couldn't ask for a better experience. The owners are really nice, the shop is cute and has a lot of nice paintings exposed (even in the restrooms!). The cinnamon scone was perfect (I tried other scones while in Edinburgh and couldn't find a single one that could compete with it), the cream, the jam and the tea were also really good. The tableware was the cutest. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. (5.40£ for the scone and the tea).

We specifically came for the scones after reading some excellent reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The scones are absolutely delicious! There’s a big variety of scones from raisin to blueberry as well as pecan and some more savoury ones. Great value for money too as they were only £2 with butter or cream and jam! Highly recommended! Really friendly owners as well.

They do scones and tea for a reasonable price. The tea is the way I like it Hot! Not lukewarm like other places. Their scones are good too, not the usual flavours. They have blueberry, cinnamon, ginger etc. The scones are big and fill you up. It's a small cute little shop with few tables. The owners are lovely and friendly. They serve tea in cute sets. Wish I found them earlier.

Wow. This coffee shop and art gallery is wonderful. Introduced by family we were taken to view the art and to enjoy the cakes. There is a wide variety of scones which are served warm and with the condiments you want (jam and cream all the way for me). I had it on great authority that the blueberry muffins were out of this world and they did not disappoint. I can't wait to visit again. The only difficulty is deciding what to have...

The owners were lovely, the coffee excellent and the scones absolutely delicious. Such a variety of unique flavours it was hard to choose. My friend commented "best scone I've had in my life" and I agree.

Amazing amazing scones! We had the cinammon and sultana scones, blueberry scones and cheese scone and every single bite was delightful. The couple running the place were very very friendly. Definitely recommend this place

Amazing scones, cakes served with a knife and fork (yes!), a warm welcome and a great place to relax, refuel and be inspired by the beautiful artworks (some are owner Ingrid's own). Excellent framing service also available. Go there today (not Monday or Tuesday when it's closed).

Wow! Magnificent savoury scones packed with Mediterranean delights of olive, sundried tomato and cheese, and delicious soup. Cake beautifully presented with fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt. I won't need to eat for 3 days now! Very calm relaxing place to chat. Loved it.
