Good food... Fish and chips hit the spot and so did the pint of beer.
Table service was slow. Had to wave for attention a few times. Place seemed to be very busy and packed given it was only a weekday at 630pm.

non-alcoholic drinks. The food was fantastic. We had the fish and chips with the homemade tartar sauce. Very good.
Very nice pub/restaurant in a great location. We stopped just by case but we feel very welcomed and we got surprised by the quality and variety of food and drinks.
We saw may costumers having the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties so it is surely a very good place where to try this Scottish speciality.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Canons’ Gait pub in Edinburgh, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked through its doors, I was immersed in a truly delightful and authentic Scottish pub atmosphere.

After a long siteseeing we got in for a lunch. Nice and kind staff. Fast service and delicious food. I tried the Classic Fish & Chips my wife wished Highland Chicken.
