Cafe On The Mound - Edinburgh - Photo album

Amazing food at great prices. Nice and comfy. Staff were very nice and polite and helpful. Tried the sourdough toast and the chocolate muffin, latte was amazing. They also have student discount .
We had earl gray tea, a cappucino, avocado toast with fried egg, and porridge with banana, peanut butter and cinnamon. All the food was great and prices were pretty good! The drinks were also large. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was cozy! Would recommend :)
Inconspicuous place with nice food, decent prices and friendly staff.
Lovely and welcoming. Considering how busy they are the atmosphere is wonderful. Ideally located to stow luggage while visitors using public transport get their bearings. Booked luggage storage through Luggage Hero app. Easy booking, easy payment on collection of luggage.
Great pastry and sandwiches. Service was kind and accommodating.
One of the best chai latte I have tasted so far. Cozy and cool decor with a city view (currently view is blocked due to maintenance barrier). Entrance is kinda hidden from the main street. Totally recommend it.
Cute, lively cafe by the castle. It was about half-full around noon. I got the avocado toast and a cappuccino. Both were great. Food came out quick. Wifi available.
Lovely cafe in Edinburgh's historic center. I had the full breakfast and a cappuccino. Delicious, and the service was excellent. Thank you!
Nice spot to stop before visiting the castle or walking the royal mile
Great little cafe on top of the hill. Good food at a great price in a lovely setting with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Amazing staff. I had an emergency today and had to leave my bag (the staff will know the story). The staff could not be more helpful
We came here with my mum and my partner for breakfast, and had a delicious breakfast with lovely coffee ☕️ My mum fell in love with the little jugs of milk and wanted to buy one but staff gave it to her as a souvenir 🥰 You make her feel like she's back in Edinburgh every time she has her tea 🍵 Than
Perfect for what it is: a cafe with a nice view, drinks and light sandwiches and snacks. Good tea to the table in under two minutes, comfy chairs, and friendly staff. Little off the beaten path too so even during the Fringe it isn't heaving with customers all the time.
Love this place!! The student discount is great and the sausage roll was very filling! Wifi worked very well. Cozy space and nice staff
Good breakfast’s and coffee. Very affordable with friendly enough staff.
Located right next to one of Edinburghs historic University buildings with views of Princes Street right opposite - this homey cafe is just the place for a muffin and coffee to have a break from the city!
Great food and service. Photos are of our brunch aftermath. The soup of the day was curry lentil chicken, which was excellent on this dreary cozy day. Lots of seating and great views.
I had a really great breakfast, so I definitely recommend this place !
Good food and service. Not quite as "touristy" as much of the surrounding area. A bit of an oasis really.
