Amazing, amazing, amazing. The customer experience here is absolutely phenomenal. We were served by a lovely Australian chap who immediately recognised our dietary requirements and suggested a meal accordingly, to which we duly obliged. We had a salmon and cream cheese croissant, which was good, and an avocado-poached egg-halloumi toast which was absolutely amazing (seriously - order this). We finished off with a bread and butter pudding (really good) and chocolate fudge cake (quite rich). Amazing customer service and really good food meant a five star experience. Highly recommended.

A great breakfast, perfect for start to the day or a long day of travelling. Great value and happy to substitute the black pudding which my wife doesn't like

Oh man... I would have eaten the whole place. Everything looks delicious in here. I had a super nice and filling ham and salad bap (I could even choose the type of bread) and a coffee. Good food and good coffee. Friendly staff. Can get very busy at peak time but this is the sign of a nice place, isn't it? Reasonably priced, too. To be tested if in the area!

Really lovely place! Can't recommend the coffee enough too I had a iced latte and it hit the spot! And they also use reusable straws (metal) which I thought was a very nice touch!and a wee biscuit with a hot drink too is very cute :) definitely a place to go!

Loving it. How did these guys make a vegan sandwich SO GOOD still mystifies me. Will be back. The bread here is dangerously delicious. I dream about it. This place has everything I look for in a cafe: crazy yummy food with a healthy feel, wifi, cute friendly service, location, cozy vibes. I want to date this cafe.

Delicious, friendly and always a positive surprise. I love their salat boxes and pastries to have with coffee. Sometimes you need to wait for a seat. Extra seating available outside. Located just next to a bus stop (for those rainy days.)

A nice variety of baked goods available, friendly staff as well :) I purchased a chocolate twist from this bakery and it was really a treat. I'm sure their other pastries taste wonderful as well. The shop also accepts payment by both cash and card, making it convenient for making purchases.

My favourite place in Edinburgh, it is a small and cosy café, money here is well spent, the food is just amazing, I love the bread and the brownies are to die for. I always come here when I feel like I need a good breakfast and staff is very nice too. The only negative thing that I can say is that they don't have a toilet for the guest.

I had one of the best sandwiches I have had for ages; chicken and chorizo with some rocket, dressing and Manna Hose lovely roll superb and could have fed a family of four. Wife and daughter had salads which looked superb as well. Coffee was really good and cakes were yummy. Thank you!

I've been a customer of the Manna House for a year and a half now. The food and coffee are great and the staff are helpful and lively. The place is popular with local people. That's the good news and the bad news - it's a small space and you need to go early to avoid queues. Go anyway, though - always worth it for the cakes.

Love, love, love the Manna House. Since moving house to very close by, it's become my de facto weekend breakfast spot when I have a free morning. A great range of homemade sweet and savoury dishes that appeal to all tastes. Coffee not bad either! Highly recommended.

The Manna House is a brilliant combination of bakery and cafe, Space is a bit on the small side, but that's because there's so much going on behind the scenes to produce some of the finest breads, rolls and cakes in Scotland. So much so, their rolls are delivered all over the city each morning for use by other cafes/roll delivery folk. The quality is amazing. If you're there at the busiest periods, around lunchtime, you're not likely to get a seat - but the staff on hand are very efficient and keep the cue down almost as well as they bake their bread :) Check it out if you're in the area for sure.

This place was excellent - what a find! Really healthy and tasty food as well as as tasty treats too. Rolls, salad options (the best option IMHO), a heated dish (stew on this day), cakes, tarts as well as a host of baked breads & biscuits etc. Highly recommended.

Wonderful food in this place! We had lovely food, I wanted to stuff my face with bread, the cakes looked really yummy and you could tell everthing is fresh, and made with proper high-quality ingredients! After some questionable meals we had in Edinburgh, lunch at Manna's was just what we needed. Will surely come back.
