The serving area is in middle of the establishment effectively splitting the pub in middle - in the old days one half was the 'lounge' part used by the upper classes with the other half of the bar area freque

Used to attend regularly but have moved away, so this was a flying visit. Quizmaster, bar staff and other teams remembered us and were so welcoming. Lovely pint or two of Leslie's lager too.

The interior of this place is worth the trip alone. It's like stepping back in time to the Victorian age. Plenty of beers & whiskies to satisfy every palate, and the staff & regulars are a friendly and welcoming bunch.
