Tanjore - Edinburgh - Photo album

The food is incredibly delicious and the price reflects that. I had the chicken biryani which was spot on with every flavour coming together just right. I asked for the food to be as spicy as possible, but it was incredibly mild. The first thing I noticed was that the menu photos on google maps do n
Delicious dinner of dosas and mini idli sambar. Will absolutely come again. Main course in the range of £10-16 (higher end if you want lamb). Starters £3-6. Good portions! Left very happy ❤️
The best Indian restaurant I’ve tried outside of India. Would even beat most restaurants I’ve tried in India. Highly recommend this for authentic Tamil food.
Delicious and authentic idlis and vadas. The sambar and chutneys were amazing as well! The dosa and utthappam were real good too, although could have done with a little less oil. But all in all, they have super authentic food!
Food was amazing. But don’t expect quantity. Even though u order large the quantity will be very less. Cost is bit higher side if u compare with other Asian/Indian Restaurants over there. I saw few reviews about Card acceptance not available but it was there and they take all kind of cards for pa
Very delicious food, large portions, especially Dosa and friendly staff. They have both spicy and not spicy options. Also lots of meaty and vegan options to chose from. Would definitely visit again, highly recommend!
Authentic south Indian restaurant. Must visit in Edinburgh 😊 Loved it ! We tried cauliflower fry, Mysore masale dose, kottu parotta, idly, medhu vade and lovely chai ! Had fun with my friends. Courteous & friendly staff. Would love to visit again ! ❤️
The food is awesome. We tried family dosa, Idli, Puri, Tanjore chicken, medhu vada. Each item is great, worth money. Last but not least I tried homemade mango lassi, coool. Must eat please in Edinburgh.
Had a scrumptious south Indian food...!!! Everything was way delicious than expected !! Their gulab jamun with 🍨 was top-notch ..!!!
Amazing experience from start to finish! Went last Friday Night. Busy place sometimes you have to wait. Good food with South Indian style but Quantity is very small compared to price. Quantity has to be increased.
A decent place to enjoy some traditional South-Indian food, mainly Idlis and Dosas.
Amazing food. Was recommended by a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend it. The masala dhosai was fantastic. The chettinad village style curry was divine. Best South Indian food I've had in years. Seriously don't miss it.
Delicious food. Authentic South Indian taste for someone who loves South Indian food. Filter coffee was super hot and perfect. We tried sambar vada, the sambar was super yummy. Vada was crispy and fulfilled my expectations. Mysore masala dosa was of good quantity and had the perfect taste with three
One of the best south Indian restaurants in Scotland. Coconut chutney and sambar tasted authentic. Prawn’s biriyani was too good. Kind of busy during lunch time in the weekends. Service was good. Waiting time after ordering was more than 15 minutes.
