Mussel Inn - Edinburgh - Photo album

We had a nice dining experience at this restaurant, opting to sit outside due to the limited availability indoors. The mussels were so good, bursting with flavor. Considering the reasonable price, the overall meal was a great deal, and we enjoyed the added bonus of a pleasant view while enjoying our
Wait persons were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with generous servings. We enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. I enjoyed the King Scallops dish. There was a wide variety of choices on the drink menu. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic seafood at this Rose Street restaurant. Come here for some kicking Moroccan mussels. The sea bass was good too. We also had a sav blanc bottle too. Sticky date pudding was good too! Scallops were good too.
We arrived a little after they opened with no reservation and they sat us right away. We had the Moroccan muscles and the licor or sauce was decadent lightly cheesy and good spices. I loved it so much we didn’t let them take the out so we could lop the juice up w bread. My scallops were succulent an
100% satisfied with the blue cheese mussels pot! Super large portion, I can’t stop dipping the bread to the sauce, the mussels are fresh and soooo delicious. Absolutely mouth watering, will visit again. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Amazing food. Recommend it so much - especially the tomato&basil soup, it was amazing. A bit expensive though but you get what you pay for.
The staff is kind and the food is great. Most of all, I couldn't feel any racist behavior in them. The seats can be filled quickly, so reservations are required. If I have a chance, I would like to visit again.
Amazing food. Highly recommend the chilled oyster and cream mussels. The staff are nice and helpful.
Truly enjoyed the fresh naturally steam mussels. Just add a little fresh lemon juice and enjoy. The lobster over potatoes with a tomato and green salad was delicious. We selected an Italian Pinot Grigio to complement our seafood dinner. Finished with an expression macchiato and for me an Expresso
Really fresh and large portion of tasty seafood. We opted for the chowder and seafood platter and it goes really well with garlic bread. Highly recommended. Only minor complaint will be that the chowder was more potato-ey and less seafood-y.
Worth ! Must try King Scallops with Mixed veggie was really good. And I don't usually eat veggies !
The place is really nice and the pasta is excellent! I was recommended this place by a student in UoE on the train to edinburgh. I can taste the freshness of seafood and the pasta is well done! But the grill oyster is a bit too salty for me so I drank lots of water. the atmosphere is great. this res
We had a very tasty dinner, the seafood was really good and the chowder amazing. Kindest service ever!
Great place for seafood, the soup was the best. Great service but the table were to close to each other. I was so close to the next table, the kids in the next table keep looking over my shoulders to see what i am doing on my phone! No privacy at all . some kids just have not learn their manners
The mussels are the favourites, we ordered the ones cooked with white wine. There is a big plate with a variety of sea food but the mussels are better.
Return vist during busy festival time. Food was excellent as usual. Fish fresh and perfectly cooked. Staff knowledgeable about menu and attentive. Highly recommend food and staff. Only issue to be aware of is that some of the cobblestones across Edinburgh are in need of repair. Could be a balance or
This place has been recommended to me several times, and I'm so pleased to say that I'm also joining that bandwagon 🥰 As a lover of seafood, I'm surprised I haven't tried this place before now, but I'm glad that's now changed. 💛 Like most places in Edinburgh, incredibly welcoming and friendly staff
The food here was just absolutely gorgeous - I couldn't recommend this place enough if you appreciate seafood. Had the seafood chowder and mussels with shallots, white wine and garlic with a delish sauvignon blanc. This has been one of the best meals I've had in a long time. A true testament to incr
