Great warm atmosphere! Delicious food! (we had veggie breakfast, ciabatta, sandwich and scrambled eggs. loved them all!) Quality coffee! perfect for a small group of friends, although can be quite crowded as well.

It is a great place to hangout with a small group of friends. It can be very busy in the eveings and during summer. Ideal location as its close to town. They do good coffee as well as sandwiches. Soups are great too.

Great experience as always! Not a big fan of the coffee but the food has never ever disappointed and the location is lovely. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs on toast

We went for brunch and it was very yummy. I had the fritters breakfast, hubby had the full breakfast. Well I loved mine! The combination of everything was perfect. The poached egg, the feta, the avocado and then the fritter was just amazing!!! Go for breakfast it's worth it!!

Lovely (and lively) wee cafe for coffee and delicious scones! But noisy at times but a fun place to people watch and read papers and watch the world go by..... (did I mention amazing scones? )

I live near this coffee and there are always so many people that I decided to try it! I came for a brunch which was delicious, I got the normal full breakfast but they have many options for everyone, the juices are amazing and the price is average. You can also sit outside which is a bonus on those few sunny days in the burgh

Best coffee I've had in a while!. I have been living in Edinburgh for 3 weeks now and am on the constant search for the best coffee in town.
I just found my favourite so far! And the cheapest by a pound! Very happy, will be back.

Not quite Everest. Dropped in here today to sample the highly rated coffee and maybe a bun. First impressions were good, clean and tidy, quite laid back and relaxing. Friendly staff took time to explain the different sizes of cup and shots of coffee for my latte. The standard size was about 2 mouthfulls so I chose a "large" which was anything but and sat at my table. The selection of pastries was poor so just a coffee this time. When it arrived it was well presented (see pic) and was better than average but it was finished all too soon. C'mon KC, lets have some decent sized cups !!

Kilimanjaro is a nice coffee place in Edinburgh. Same owners as Wellington Coffee. Located near the University so expect to be full of a young student crowd

An Edinburgh favourite, mostly for students, but it's a reliable source of decent hot drinks and good juices.

I was dragged along for breakfast, anticipating a very brief one when asking for gluten free as the menu didn't look hopeful. So I was pleasantly surprised when they bent over backwards to make sure that I was provided with a good amount and variety of food! My opinion of them has definitely gone up.

This is a recent discovery for me, but my boyfriend describes the coffee here as ‘amazing’ which is pretty big praise from him. It’s always busy, no matter what time of day or what month you go. Its close proximity to the University means that it’s often filled with students and artsy types. The rustic vibe makes it feel like the kind of place where brilliant novels could be written. They can do no wrong when it comes to coffee, it’s all good and well worth the trip to the Old Town.

Excellent service, breakfast was super tasty. Breakfast tea was the winner for me, coming with a full pot and taste was amazing! Also Kili brunch was super tasty. I total paid 21£, it’s a bit pricey though.

Was looking forward to visit this cafe. The service was prompt and friendly. The taste was quite nice but nothing extraordinary like the reviews suggested.

Great coffee, great cakes - particularly nice scones and friendly service. It's quite narrow so not idea for a big group of more than 4, as it is very popular. It is is a great place to chill, work, and eat though.

Popped in early Sunday for breakfast. Lovely friendly staff and prompt service. Nice shabby chic look to the furniture. Had eggs benedict which was excellent. Nice thick toast and perfect runny yoke eggs. Orange juice was freshly squeezed from oranges and coffee was good.

Went here during my Edinburgh trip and I still think of it every so often. Great coffee, amazing food, and if you're a fan of haggis you're in luck! (these guys have haggis with their breakfast selection)

Went there to try a new café during the Amex Shop Small period. Staff was very nice, cappuccino made with a very good milk and the brownie delicious. Recommending the place and the delicious brownie! On the other hand, some tables are quite small and there's no internet WiFi access.

I visit Edinburg for five years in a row and I think that’s the place to enjoy the best traditional breakfast. Bacon from another dimension, haggis as it should be, eggs bread mushrooms and sausage.the coffe was really really great. We also tried some other breakfast options that were also amazing. The sweet opinions were ok but nothing special. The place has great coffee also.

Cozy cafe with chill vibes. Coffee and the hot chocolate was great taste and temperature. The avocado toast was tasty but too bready in my opinion. Fyi, there’s no Wi-Fi or sockets.

Enjoyable atmosphere and decent food. Wasn’t super impressed or feeling well roasted from their coffee. The atmosphere was lovely and staff decently friendly, but not overly. Would I come back? Given the number of other coffee shops, this one doesn’t stand out to make want to return.

Lovely cafe with great atmosphere and lovely staff! I had an oat milk latte and it was delicious, though I also tried my friend’s chai latte and it was way too sweet for me. I love the atmosphere in the cafe and how they open until late hours, unlike many cafes in the city. They had a lot of pastries and cakes available, though I didn’t see anything gluten free I could eat.

Cute little place. We came for breakfast and they had some good options. We got the eggs Benedict and were very excited, however, our poached eggs were very hard which isn't what you really want for eggs Benedict. Overall the food was alright but not the best eggs Benedict.

I think I had the best cappuccino of my life here last month. Went back numerous times and it was consistently amazing. Had to leave a review because I'm still thinking about it.
