The Mckirdy's Steakhouse - Edinburgh - Photo album

I was in Edinburgh for a week, and was brought to many fancy restraunts. I, myself, am not a fancy man, and so when the day came for my fiance to choose a place she thought we'd both enjoy she thought "steak" and we came here. That dinner was absolutely delicious. I loved it like it was my own son.
First time eating here. Absolutely amazing. The mixed grill was great and everything was cooked to perfection. The cheesecake is one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten in my life. No exaggeration. Would highly recommend this place.
Amazing food and dinning experience! Small place that smells delicious and tastes the same! We got the garlic mushrooms for an appetizer! The sauce was a must have. And I ordered the ribeye seared in a pan and it tasted wonderfully!
Amazing local meat, it was great to see that the waiters were very knowledgeable and provided great advice. Definitely recommend! Maybe the place itself needs a bot of a lift but you may be nicely surprised as we were. The best meat we had in Edinburgh or Uk even.
Walking in you would be forgiven for thinking you've walked back in time to a 90's Italian restaurant, but don't let the dated decor fool you. The staff were funny and helpful, very informative of the menu choices. The portion was very generous, the starter was like a main by itself. I had the mixe
Very smart well laid out restaurant. I love steaks and burgers. If I had to eat steak every meal for the rest of my life I would not be devastated. Whilst I began to think the wait for the food was slightly long I understood why when it arrived. The nicest steak I've ever had. I'm 37 and I love stea
Fantastic T-Bone, visited with my wife and 11 month old last night. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Great night had by us the best steak in Edinburgh so far
Consistently excellent for lovers of good quality and perfectly cooked steaks. The place has been around for many years and always seems busy, even though its a bit out of the way. Prices are basically an example of you get what you pay. for, so not cheap but worth it. It is Probablely not the best
Lovely stand-alone steak house, staff members were really friendly and overall was a great experience. Have a very reasonable pre-dinner set menu, would recommend a visit.
Meat was delicious and perfectly done, sides on the point and sauces add even more taste to the whole. All in all, 1st-class experience in a very informal yet fully professional place. I'll definitely be back 😊
The steals here were amazing, you must try the haggis tower as a starter. It was our introduction to haggis and we loved it. My husband's steak was slightly overdone but mine was perfect. We would recommend a visit as the overall experience was lovely.
Food outstanding, from starter to main course and desert, quality, cooked fresh, excellent portion sizes, a superb family dinning experience.
Fancied a steak and realised that this place did an early 🐦 special. Was pretty great steak was lovely and staff very polite and friendly. It met my expectations and dinner was well received, thank you!
Very nice place, food was amazing and I really liked the vibe of it. The prices were good for a steakhouse :)
Visiting from the USA and wanted a good steak dinner. Small and quaint place with friendly staff. I ordered a glass of Malbec and the filet (rare) with Diane sauce. The steak was prepared perfect on the grill, the sauce was very good, and the baked potato nice and soft with a crispy skin. I'm ver
Exceptionally good steak, cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend the Clansman sauce to accompany too. Pudding was also very nice but the steak was the main event for sure!
Great place! Fitted me in last minute, a great little find!
Great food although my rare steak was medium well. They resolved the situation without fuss. Friendly staff
