We had wanted to go to Los Argentinos for quite some time and we were not disappointed!
The decor is a little outdated and the restaurant could definitely do with a little spruce up but if you look beyond this the food and service truly make up for any other flaws.
The portions for the price charged is exceptional value for money. I got the ribs and the only slight comment I could say was that they are described as BBQ but there was not much sauce or trace of BBQ flavour bar that the meat was cooked impeccably and was so tasty! My partner got the steak and he absolutely loved it, there was hardly any fat on the meat at all and was cooked to perfection.
If you’re looking for a good quality steak then look no further!

One of my favourite date spots. My husband is quite picky about how his steak is cooked (rare) and it's one of the few places that gets it spot on every time. They also have decent ribs, seafood and a veggie option but it's definitely for carnivores. I recommend sharing one side between two- we can never get through the huge bowl of chips between us!
Everything was very delightful! The meat was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was very nice and kind.

I had the 450g fillet steak, a lot of meat but with some fries, a peppercorn sauce, chimichurri to die for on the side was phenomenal! Especially, if you get a bottle of Argentinian Malbec 😉
A slightly rustic environment, our table was cosy for 6 with friendly attentive staff.
Definitely somewhere I'll be returning to in the future!
Brilliant! What a fantastic little place to eat. Slightly away from the heart of the city but well worth the short walk or taxi ride to. I could not fault the food or service, all round a fantastic meal.
We were a group of 5 and all orders came out together, cooked as per requested and the food was epic!
We visited Los Argentinos on Mother’s Day for dinner and the food was amazing. 4 of us attended and we could not fault the food. The service was very quick and the staff were very approachable and friendly. If you are looking for a good steak and grill house then I would suggest you try here. Thank you to the staff for making Mother’s Day a special one.
We were out for some good meat and the meat was fantastic 🤩. The staff was great and came to the table many times just to check if everything was ok. We ordered different meat and different cooking and it was just perfect 👍. We hade a great evening and ended with same good desserts. We recommend this restaurant for the best food and great staff.

Best steak house in Edinburgh. Very delicious steak (450 Ribeye) and grilled vegetables, mushroom sauce being a perfect one to go with. Ice-cream and cheesecakes are amazing as always. Price is quite reasonable too. Waiters being friendly and professional; the food came quite quickly. Strongly recommend.
We visited the restaurant once again and we were satisfied. Delicious food and nice service. We'll be back for sure.
Friendly accommodating staff with fantastic quick service. Steaks are tasty, squid was superb. Peppercorn sauce very peppery makes you enjoy the wine even more. Chips are really good too.
Been twice- first time the service was excellent although the second it was a wee bit slow. It was during the Festival so no big deal. But the steaks were juicy - chips good and the Mixed Grill large and tasty. Pricing good and service friendly. If you enjoy Chimichurri enhanced with onions and curry powder then go for it.

We really enjoyed our visit. My wife had the filet steak, and I had a rump steak. Both were excellent and very tender. We had baked potatoes. Mine was a little hard, but they replaced it immediately. The staff are friendly and effective. They serve ChiminChuri for the steaks, and it tastes good.
Really nice steak house and reasonable prices overall.
The food was delicious and it felt such a treat. The portion are on the big side. The staff was really friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Beware though: the place is not the biggest so it can feel a bit cramped.

Fantastic customer service and fabulous food. The staff are friendly, and they are very supportive when you dine with children.
My child was tired and hungry and we went there for a birthday meal, and the staff were kind enough to bring our childs dish first.
The food menu has a good selection of steak dishes, and there is also a good starter menu. I have included photos of the menu.
