Artisan Cheesecakes opened their first store in Bathgate which is a town next to my hometown. But I never actually got around to trying it out for myself until they opened a store in Bruntsfield. When I went I had the Scottish tablet cheesecake and it was amazing. It was pretty sickly but cheesecake normally is. My friend (Leda from Small Girl, Bigger World) had the galaxy caramel one and she also really enjoyed it. The only thing about this place is that there are only two tables and one is tiny! You can get the slices to take away though so if it's busy then you don't have to stick around.

Well, after driving past Artisan Cheesecake for what feels like the 100th time and staring longingly into the window, I finally got a chance to pop in and buy the queen of all desserts (in my opinion anyway) - CHEESECAKE!

A cozy little heat greets you as you step through the door where you come face to face with this wall of cheesecake. It is cheesecake Galore in there. A whole wall of chillers filled with cheesecakes - White chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup, M&M, Aero, Classic, Tablet - you name it, you dream it and its going to be there (in some respect)!!
There is a DIY/electronic loyalty card set up on their Ipad. Swipii is there loyalty system and its so fun and easy to set up - Heads up, 5 points just for registering in store!!

After a long and hard debate we picked the Milkybar and the White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecakes to share between the two of us and we were not disappointed in the slightest.
The milkybar one had big chunks of chocolate through the creamy and rich white chocolate cheesecake that was sitting on top of a tasty, perfect biscuit base (Brownie points to who ever decided the thickness of the base as it was perfect)

The White Chocolate strawberry one has a layer of white chocolate then a layer of strawberry sitting again on that perfect base! With hundreds of little chunks and shavings of white chocolate mixed in the strawberry layer, this really was a dream cheesecake!

Now, I know what you are thinking - how can one girl write a blog post this long, all about two slices of cheesecake? Well, unless you have tasted these desserts for yourself, then you do not understand the sheer bliss of this cheesecake!!
The whole experience, from entering, choosing, the staff, the shop, the loyalty cards to divulging in our sweet treats was ace. We cannot wait to go back!!

There is only one small table in the window so this place definitely accommodates more for take out - but I'm not complaining about that one bit.
Well done Artisan Cheesecake - job well done!

Artisan cheesecakes is the cheesecake dream, I visit whenever I can as it is so good! The cheesecakes come in a variety of flavours which change daily so I'm always impressed and surprised by the original flavours. They are creamy and light, the base is always just right, 100% worth it.

You have made my life happier and my body softer. I love your tasty treats so much so I go about an hour out of my way once a week to get a slice. And each time I fail and come out with 2 slices. There is just too many too choose from!! I get a fruit flavoured (one of my 5 a day) and a chocolaty or nutty one to indulge in.

I have dragged many of my favourite people there to share the joy and all have said it is the best cheesecake they have EVER had.

My mum might relocate to Edinburgh just for yous.

Best cheesecake we had in London for sure. Tried their lemon cheesecake and White chocolate coconut and raspberry. It's so rich and decadent. Love it 😍

Decided to visit during an amazing sunny day. Unlike some of the other cafes in the area there isn’t much room and there is no seating other than a bench that is outside. This isn’t a problem though, due to it being just across the road from the bruntsfield links; it’s perfectly placed to grab a quick and really well priced lunch and eat it in the park. The staff were really friendly and they make the bagels fresh to order, so any dietary requests you might have are easy for them to accommodate.

The cheesecake was delicious, although the truffles were rock hard and insipid. Bagel was decent, nothing groundbreaking, but I appreciated the proper bagel chewy texture. Definitely going to try it again at some point.

I've long awaited to experience the artisan cheesecakes, living in Wales it required a short flight on a plane! After years of sharing Facebook posts with my friend about these, we had the chance to try. They are absolutely divine, very creamy and not too sweet. Just perfect. I managed to eat 2 slices!! One was strawberry daiquiri, and the other milky bar. Highly recommend!

One of the best cheesecakes we have ever tried! We took the chocolate fudge, salted caramel and one with all the chocolates on top. All of them were great! Also there are some savory homemade bagels which you can take away as well. The guy who was serving us was really friendly and helpful. Prices are normal for the quality of the food. Highly recommend for a great cheesecake!

Most satisfying cheese cakes in Edinburgh City. It was wonderful experience. One slice is gud enough for two. Have a lot of variety to select . Customer friendly service.

Nice little place with tasty cheesecakes. They even have a good selection of bagels. But we here for the cheesecakes. We ordered an amaretto and pistachio and a malteser cheesecake. Both of which were nice, but I didn’t really taste much nuts on mines and my wife just thought hers was like a normal cheesecake with malteser on top (nothing particularly special). It was also a shame that the cheesecake was presented in a cardboard box so it was a bit crushed. We also got a bounty cheesecake milkshake and a Daim cheesecake milkshake. Both of which were terrific. Really tasty actually. Much better than the last milkshake I had. On top of that we ordered a rollo and milkybar traybake. Both were good but probably would have been tastier if we were hungrier when we ate them. The girl that served us was very nice and was able to offer recommendations. Overall, we are glad we have went and we enjoyed the food but not the best cheesecakes we’ve had.

Would definitely recommend this cute little cafe for its cheesecakes! Traveled to bruntsfield just for this place and was totally worth it. They have a great selection, we tried the strawberry and Rollo cheesecakes and both were delicious They can be very morish, so kindly got to take the leftovers away to finish later, but will absolutely be back.

Wow, wow, wow!! What an amazing place. The staff are so friendly. I got a biscoff blondie, milkybar cheesecake AND sticky toffee cheesecake all in the space of 2 days! The sticky toffee cheesecake was a personal favourite - one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had 👏 I will certainly be back if I’m in Edinburgh again and am jealous of anyone who lives there that can visit regularly!

You have to try the Scottish Tablets. Best cheesecake in town indeed! Went here with high expectations, and my first bite made me giggle like a kid. Thumbs up.

Great cheesecake with a LOT of flavours. The take away boxes are also very handy - cutlery is free. However, do not expect to get a seat - one proper table with two little nooks. The table can also be reserved so even if it looks empty you might be out of luck. Food wise however a definite recommendation.

Can't quibble with the quality and variety of cheesecakes. Decent price for the portion you get but I'd love to be able to purchase a larger slice for a bit more money for those days when you want an extra treat! Shame that they no longer have a table to sit at, just some stools, so I would no longer sit in there for a meal (they also do great bagels) but I'm sure this is more viable for them. Tray bake was also tremendous and service very good.

The cheesecake was lovely, but I was most surprised by the bagels. They were very fresh and fully loaded. Can throughly recommend.
