Went here today with my classmates. We ordered the gigantic nachos and the tower of onion rings but barely finished all of them despite there were six of us! The gigantic nachos was literally very gigantic! Maybe next time we need to bring more people to finish them off. In regards of atmosphere, it's quite nice and cozy, a very pleasant place to enjoy your Friday night with bunch of friends!
Visited to try their veggie haggis and enjoyed the meal. Good service and a lively atmosphere on the pub quiz night. The questions though were the most obscure I've encountered
Then nachos were huge and delicious and amazing. Can you see the melted cheese on the corn chips. It was really good. I asked what it was and was told it is Cheezly white cheddar. However it is not just that the vegan cheese is right. It is also that there is such a generous serving of beans and guacamole. For the chilli loves (not me) there were lots of chilli rings too. Top marks for presentation and taste. The menu advises that these nachos serves two and they are right. I wished I had company and ended up leaving quite a lot on my plate. At £10 for the plate, it would be quite good value for two people.
Delicious food, great ale, lovely staff and location. We over ordered as the portions are a very good size. Next time we would probably share, but we were happy to try everything!

I'm visiting from the US and stumbled in—figuratively—to quiz/trivia night on a Tuesday. The beverage selection is great, and I had a few different local beers. The food was phenomenal. I had the mac and cheese with pulled pork and would recommend it, but I will also be back to try the LARGE plate of nachos!
I don't get the chance to go very often but when I do it doesn't matter how hungry the two of us are it's virtually impossible for us to finish our sharing-for-2 Nachos.
(Can't say we have that same issue with our drinks)

Amazing vibe! The nachos are legendary and so so delicious. Pro tip: take friends along because you can't finish one portion on your own (I tried and failed 😝). At Least they give you a take away box to pack the leftovers 😄
They say they have Legendary Nachos and they weren't wrong! They may be a little pricey at £18, but that's the price of two main meals and was definitely more than filling! A good selection of craft beers on tap, as well as more in cans and dog friendly too!
Really cosy spot and plenty vegan options. 5 bean nachos was a very generous portion. Would definitely come back here for a nice casual catchup with friends
Awesome pub. Probably the best nachos. To be clear: the best nachos, probably. I would rate them higher, but I haven't tried all the nachos. But these are probably the best.
If they weren't as good, they'd make up for that in quantity, but they're excellent (probably the best). And it's a very big plate. Stacked high.
Do not attempt this on your own, unless you have a free day, and can start early.
I've been here many many times over the years and never been disappointed. The food is nice and reasonably priced, especially the gigantic nachos. There's a good selection of beers and whiskies. The music is great and it's never too loud.
Great spot! The vegetarian nachos were awesome. We got the small ones, which were a hearty snack for 4, but they were so good we wished we had gotten the large. Also thoroughly enjoyed the onion rings — they were executed perfectly in that you could bite into them without pulling out the entire onion. Would def go back next time I’m in the area.
