Cafe Nom De Plume - Edinburgh - Photo album

It is a good place to have brunch. I had a lovely time here and the food was quite good. (15-01-2017) Today I went for the second time to Cafe Nom De Plume with a entourage of 5 people. We had a very nice time. The food is good, not expensive and it is a great place to meet friends. (18-09-2018) I
From US: Came here based on other reviews, the place is quirky, but worth the ten minute walk for sure. Staff was friendly and food was great. The brown bread they serve with many dinners is great!
Very pleasant vegetarian lunch. They also have a small selection of interesting German beers.
Wonderful. Great menu with lots of gluten free options. We had awesome chilli and roast aubergine respectively and beautifully delicate gluten free blackcurrant mousse to finish. House wines were very good, staff lovely.
A local friend introduced us to this quaint little cafe/restaurant. A modern take on Scottish and English classics, like haggis and mash or beef mince with Yorkshire pudding, with outstanding execution. Great selection of drinks, with many local brews. Highly recommend! (But, beware of child policy
I had heard good things about Cafe Nom De Plume and I wasn't disappointed. The staff are kind, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere provides a comfortable "Home-Like" feel and the food was very good. I'll be back soon to try some other menu options!
It's hard to go wrong here as there really is something for everyone, and then some. I went out with a large group - very mixed. Some carnivorous, others herbivorous - some couldn't eat dairy, some couldn't eat gluten. Others were just damn picky. On top of that we arrived without a reservation dur
The food here is really good and fresh with big portions and lots of vegetarian options. It is very reasonably priced too. The décor is bright and quirky. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and they even welcome well behaved dogs! I would recommend it.
First visit for lunch today. Quirky decor with relaxed feel. Beef chilli was good as was my wife’s smoked salmon salad. Prices are ok and we will go again. Toilets very small and tired though.
Really lovely staff, great food with lots of options for vegans, veggies and carnivores. Very reasonably priced. We had red and white wine and both were lovely.
