Mercat Bar - Edinburgh - Photo album

Great menu, service and food. We visited for brunch, a good selection of items to choose from and somethinga bit different to other menus. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is I felt it looked a bit run down. I would return though.
Delicious Fish & Chips on fish Friday! Friendly service!
Excellent food and service! Our server, Logan, really went above and beyond in giving us very helpful advice about the area. The food was excellent and priced really well and had large portions.
Hosted a 40th birthday party in their function room. Lee, the owner, could not have been more helpful if he tried. Scott, the manager, answered my multiple questions on the run up to the event. The function room is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and has everything a party needs. Will definitely use
Good place to come for breakfast and lunch. Freindly staff, quick service and good coffee. Good location as it is near the tram stop for the airport so if you need to head to the airport after it's ideal. Nice setting and nice atmosphere inside too.
Good selection of beers gins and whiskies. Has downstairs area available. Didn’t try the food. One small criticism. I asked the bar staff to use less cola in my bourbon but they filled the glass right up with coke on a couple of occasions which diluted the flavour of the whiskey.
Friendly staff, great food. Can be really busy during rugby weekends, but still worth a visit.
Great location. Awesome breakfast, really yummy and traditional. Had teapots brought to the table which made our morning on a frosty december. Friendly staff and really lovely interior. Would recommend definitely. Enjoyed a traditional scottish breakfast.
While out and about in haymarket Edinburgh we came across this place it looked smart but very friendly from the outside so thought we would try the breakfast after entering it looked clean + very fresh even the staff came across as warm we ordered the full scottish breakfast instead of haggis a had
- Pretty interior, orange walls make the decorum even more festive during winter - Place is close to the city centre, there's also free wi-fi - Tea was refreshing, got two pots - Delicious scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and fresh salad - Helpful waiter and good service
