The Orchard - Edinburgh - Photo album

We had the fish sandwich, the steak sandwich and the fantastic onion rings. The food was good, but the service from Christopher was great.
Great pub food provided in great surroundings. Looked like a good range of beer on tap. Cocktails and wine too. We walked up to get a table without booking but imagine it gets it visitors and regulars. Close to the Botanical Gardens too.
We had a great time in The Orchard. The food was good and the service professional. I liked the atmosphere of the place, cozy, old and new at the same time. The staff was kind and chatty. I'd like to return to this restaurant for another meal and cask ale. Bye
The best place I’ve visited while here in Edinburgh. Nice, quiet vibes and perfect for a spontaneous lunch. The steak pie was amazing and so were the chips. The people working were so lovely and I will be coming back if I am ever back in Edinburgh. I highly recommend, 10/10
Perfect. Genuine homemade taste, fabulous ingredient quality, great drinks and local atmosphere. Absolutely 12/10 no complaints whatsoever
I had a fantastic visit to this pub. Wonderful attentive staff, nice selection of music and atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. I had the steak pie with chips and it was scrumptious, it was very hot when it arrived so we had to give it a few minutes until we could tuck in but it certainly didn
I really enjoyed my experience here. The waitress was really nice, and she recommended the steak pie. I enjoyed the meal along with my pint of coke.
I love the pie and I love the ice cream which was so real and real home made ice cream experience Pie was so delicious!!! And the venison (deer) meat was very delicious too . Staff were lovely and make me feel comfortable despite of the opposing efforts of the “guys”
Good straightforward menu, not much in the way of vegetables, but I understand that's because most people don't eat much in the way of vegetables. Service was great. Was rather loud, partly because of table behind us, clearly that was just or bad luck, but then they put the rugby on and it felt loud
This is one of my local pubs and it's a great place to stop for a drink or meal. It's usually fairly busy, especially in warmer weather as visitors to the Botanic Gardens drop in for food or drink. It has a neighborhood feel to it with lots of local patrons but it's very friendly and welcoming for t
First time I've been for food having been just for drinks before. Service was great and really friendly. I had the fish & chips: fish was crispy, tasty and not greasy and the chips were next level skin-on 'rooster' ones. Only minor thing was it was a wee bit on the chilly side even with the radiator
We had the most absolute pleasant experience at The Orchard. Staff was super lovely and the food and beers absolutely delicious. Great attention to details in a stunning charming venue where we felt very warmly welcomed. It is located in an area just 15 mins away from Princes Street, away from the f
Amazing customer service, great food, fantastic gluten free brownie. All for a good price. Definitely recommend!
Friendly staff and very welcomimg. We shared the mussels and the steak pie, both great, well seasoned, and filling.
I am pleased to say that the quality of food and service hasn't changed. My last visit here was a few years ago and as we all know lots has changed over this time. We ordered the steak pie, lamb roast and burger. All of us enjoyed what we had. If you are a red wine drinker I would highly recommend t
Staff very welcoming. Service good. Food delicious. Thank you.
We stopped by here for some food after we went to the botanical gardens. They have a great variety of local beers on tap if you fancy that. We had burgers and they were delicious with beer. Around that time a few families were in. If you come with kids only the non bar area is aloud to sit for you.
Very good services and helpful, good lunches prepared, slightly less choices of beers.
Nice food and great service, would have been 5 stars but was cold on the night we visited but might have been where we were seated.
