The Safari Lounge - Edinburgh - Photo album

I am celiac and this pub offers glutenfree meals and gf beer! My meals was delicious Thank you so much. So appreciated by us Celiac people!
The staff were really helpful in accommodating us with our baby (before 8pm only, I think....?). We had super tasty food - so much better than your average pub fare. Will definitely be back.
Superb tacos. Just had the beef shin and oxtail tacos today, had the fish ones too. Fish bites and fries are amazing, lovely little orange zest mayo along side. Absolutely delicious! Great bar staff, nice draft lagers. My usual once a month meal to myself on my route home.
Amazing in every respect. The menu is refreshingly imaginative and everything I have had in the past year has been excellent. Lovely people and atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Quirky independent bar near Meadowbank Retail Park. Decent range of local beers like Campervan and Bellfield (literally a stone's throw away), as well as some of your usual offerings. Nice and open with an area in the rear usually used for food, which consists of small plates, burgers and tacos (did
Amazing place! Really helpful and friendly staff. The food was delicious! Quite a unique dining experience it was awesome. If we ever go to Edinburgh again we'll be back! ☺️
Imaginative, modern menu, way better food offering than usual pub fare. Good range of drinks too. Friendly staff and pleasant surroundings.
Nipped in for dinner with my parents who were visiting me. The staff are lovely and managed to fit us in for food even though it was quite busy. We were blown away by everything we ordered, the flavour combinations were delicious! Would highly recommend!
Lovely place with friendly staff. The food we had was really nice and plenty of it. It's also seems to be one of the few places in Edinburgh that have a licence so you can your kids in and they don't mind.
The chicken bites are amazing. Great selection of beers. Awesome service. 95% of the menu is gluten free.
Great place to watch the rugby with good value and tasty food. We tried the Asia miso battered fish taco which was very good. Aiming to try their Thai beef burger next time as it wasn't available on that day.
I would like to start by saying that I've worked in the food/service industry for ten years and I like to eat out a lot. And this place is genuinely one of the all around great places to eat or drink in Edinburgh. The food and menu is quite different from anywhere else with just great flavour combin
First time here for a European dance evening in the basement. This isn't run by the pub but downstairs function room availability use. Could benefit from ventilation with 20-25 people dancing (attempts to open a window weren't approved of!). Will be back 😊
Cosy wee local for my partner and two friends and we semi-regularly come in and always enjoy ourselves. Lovely staff and quirky decor - would highly recommend!
Excellent little gem, food was fantastic with a good selection of vegetarian options which weren't run of the mill. Cocktails were crummy and reasonably priced. Excellent find and would highly recommend.
A great place to relax and enjoy a few beers. We tried the loaded hot dog and the Leith tacos. Both were absolutely delicious, the black pudding in the tacos was a taste sensation. The beers on tap were great and their wine selection was pretty cool too
Food is incredible, had a special Thai beef sausage roll that was amazing. Miso mayo is 👌
Nice pub, decent prices and friendly staff
