Oink - Edinburgh - Photo album

It's been 8 years since we went to Oink and I am STILL thinking of this place. I've recommended it to everyone traveling to Edinburgh. I check in on it on Google maps every now and again to make sure they're still open and serving their delicious pork sandwiches. We went multiple times to eat there
Great quick bite, meat is perfectly cooked, every component of the sandwich is prepared well and makes sense. Good options, the place is quite small so it gets crowded fast, but the queue moved along quickly. Affordable, filling, tasty, all that you need in midst of the sightseeing.
Yummie, if you like pork it's delicious! Had a "piglet" (the smallest bun) and it was enough to replenish my body in order to explore the streets of Edinburgh again.
An amazing hog roast bap - got mine with mustard mayo and also added crackling (recommended). The meat was sooo juicy and flavourful. Worth the wait and the queue moves pretty quickly!
The equivalent of Yorks - ‘Yorkshire Pudding Wrap’. ‘Oink’ Serves pulled pork in a bap. Great service. Great food and reasonably priced. I would recommend going for the medium as the small is maybe just a little too small, unless this is a sales tactic. Oink is located on Victoria street. A very pop
Close at 5, went there nearly 4pm, only take away is allowed. The meat was nice paired with apple sauce that gives a little sour taste to the oily dish. But Mostly lean pork which is good.
We obviously had to try this famous chain… you get the most meat with the box and can pick sides. Overall good place to try but nothing too crazy to come back for.
Nice shop for pork sandwiches. Different sauces to select. If you are early enough you get a piece of the pork crust.
Oink was a great place to stop after a long morning of walking. Large portions of delicious food at a reasonable price. Next time I eat here I’ll ask for more BBQ and mustard! Great value for meals Large portions Plenty of seating Friendly staff Plenty of drink options The haggis was a great side
The smell coming out of the restaurant instantly attracted my appetite. The pulled pork was excellent and the sage stuffing was just as wonderful. Definitely the perfect quick bite. Only knocking a star since we tried to dine inside on the counters but were told we couldn’t do so with no reasoning g
The place was fun and beautiful inside, the staff is very polite and helpfull, they were super busy and It was hot inside, so leave a tip guys. The buns are big and the food is super tasty.
I had an incredibly good sandwich here. Just thinking about it still makes my mouth water. Try it yourself if you are nearby.
Stumbled upon this place and tried their bowl, didnt disappoint! Loved their meat and pork skin!
Oink was a great stop after a long morning of sightseeing. The pulled pork sandwich hit the spot. The inside is quite small so you might have to take your sandwich on the go, but the staff was friendly and had quick service. My only complaint is wanting more BBQ sauce but because it was so busy I di
Probably the best pork sandwich I've ever tried!, Good product and you can choose the best combination ever, apple sauce, homemade chilli cheese, haggis,... Small place to est there but tale away is the best option!
Love this shop its very tiny and can get very busy, but the food is excellent the pork is beautiful juicy and soft with haggis and apple sauce on a soft white bun. Have to visit every time I am in Edinburgh ( some times twice!) Staff are really friendly as well. Recommend you try, found this place o
The food is food, we got a standard sandwich and a gluten-free hog in a box. The staff is super friendly.
Delicious pork rolls. Tiny location so the quarters are cramped. Would suggest having one person take the order to avoid the teeming masses of tourists (I am they…), but it is definitely worth it.
