The Black Fox - Edinburgh - Photo album

Genuinely one of the best gastropubs I’ve been to. We went on a quiet Monday night, our first evening in Edinburgh. Sam and Freya were so friendly and made us feel right at home with good banter and fantastic suggestions. The meal itself was great. We ordered two burgers which came with a generous
Decent meals at good prices with some really good drinks. They seem to be very understaffed so it was a bit difficult getting served but otherwise it was a very nice experience. Worth going for some drinks.
Great service and nice atmosphere. The menu booklet is a mood. We wanted to try specifically the burgers and had the scotsman and the foxy one. Individual elements were fantastic, from the haggis to the pulled pork to the bacon, we enjoyed them very much. We found the beef patties a bit too hard, bu
First experience with a Scottish pub/cafe. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. Whisky was spot on. And all very affordable. Only planning on being here 3 days but there may be smoother meal or two consumed here.

Warm friendly bar. Wonderfully friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Good food served quickly.
The Haggis Bon-Bons is my favourite, well fried haggis balls and the wise choice of honey mustard in the dish made them even more outstanding. Nachos came in a big portion with fine toppings at a really good price. We also had the Old Blue beef burger, the patty itself was not juicy enough, it’s th
Our first restaurant in Edinburgh and it did not fail! The nachos were so good! I took The Scotsman burger with Haggis and was not disappointed at all! We also loved the vibe in this restaurant and our server was super nice!
