Lovely food & really friendly staff
We had lasagne & a pasta dish both gorgeous. The sisters who work there are so lovely & we talked to them loads. They make you feel so welcome. Definitely recommend this place. Best restaurant in Edinburgh you must visit
Although the restaurant is small cramped, the food is excellent. We enjoyed the bruschetta, which was warm with fresh tomatoes on top. We also had lasagna and meatballs. Everything was fresh, delicious and quality. The restaurant was very clean and the staff prompt and polite. DEFINITELY worth a visit!
Came by on the weekend for a catch up over lunch. I ordered the gluten free tagliatelle with meatballs. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Best pasta I’ve had for a long time. Definitely coming back.
First visit in Edinburgh, so maybe the problem is with my expectations. But I felt like this place is rather overpriced and the gnocchi dish was very small. 21 pounds (before service) for so little is disappointing - I guess other meals are served with similar amount of food.
At least the staff was very nice.
A lovely restaurant. We went today for lunch, the environment is homey. Food is delicious and staffs are all nice.
Mozzarella salad was fresh but small, didn’t come with any bread. Ravioli was very good.
The major disadvantage is the toilet/sink situation (only one and physically hard to get to).
Would absolutely recommend this restaurant just off the royal mile! The food was delicious, the staff lovely and the vibes immaculate. Will be coming back when I next visit Edinburgh!
warm mood and kind staffs. the pasta had a unique texture(some people may think it is not cooked) and arancini was especially good
We came here in 2020 during the Pandemic for a memorable meal so decided to return for our one night in Edinburgh. Great service and delicious Italian food in a quaint environment. Not cheap but worth it. Gorgeous looking and tasty recipes. Staff feel caring and food feels nurturing. Intriguing whisky options (with elegant presentation) complement large wine selection.
Great authentic Italian off the Royal Mile. Very small only a few tables, but there is seating outside. Very high quality well prepared dishes. We had warm spinach salad with parmesan shavings and pine nuts, the spinach and recotta ravioli and spaghetti with meatballs ragu sauce. All excellent. Not cheap, but worth it. Very good service too.
Absolutely loved my visit here. The food Is delightful, and the service is wonderful. Definitely will be back during my next trip to the City!
Honestly the best Gluten Free Italian that we have ever had - It’s as good as normal pasta! The staff were so friendly & super helpful and it was a perfect evening! We will 100% be going back when we return to Edinburgh 😊 Also a particular mention to Mo who was so lovely!
