Wildfire - Edinburgh - Photo album

What a find! It has to be one of the best restaurants we have been to. It was small and cosy venue. The service could not be faulted and the food was superb. The presentation was spot on. Not too fancy but very nicely served. The small menu had something for everyone and cooked to perfection. We cou
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The steaks were good, but I had hoped for more, as my steak wasn't seasoned and the home made chips were not crispy.
Fabulous meal. Really excellent. Mussels followed by one of the best steaks I’ve eaten in many years (and I’ve eaten a fair few!). Service was really friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Loved it. One of my favourite places to eat in Edinburgh
One of the most enjoyable dining experiences of the year for us. The serving staff “Klaudia & Iona” were so professional and friendly, the ambience was welcoming and warm, and the food was healthy and delicious 😋
Lovely cosy restaurant with a very reasonably priced lunch menu. Food was delicious, staff friendly.
Booked a table for two and was delightfully surprised by the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was great, we had the lunch special with angus steak, very happy! Now, the top was indeed the sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream - I’m certainly returning for that!!!
The place is a bit small, so it is recommended to make a reservation upfront. We tasted the haggis and the chicken liver as starters. Both were clearly freshly made in the kitchen and tasteful. As main courses we decided to order a sirloin and a ribeye, both medium. They were a bit well done, which
The hostess/waitress was absolutely lovely, she made us feels so welcome. It is a small intimate restaurant with great ambiance. Let's get to the food, perfect, delicious tasty fresh and everything is locally sauced or from Scotland. If in Edinburgh go to Rose Street and visit Wildfire, you will not
I last visited Wildfire back in 2018 and it’s still excellent. The place looks to have been redecorated and the overall ambience is lovely inside. The food and service were excellent. We started with the Arbroath Smokey followed by a rib eye and the fish pie. All dishes were perfectly cooked, hot an
Giving this little restaurant a 5-star review. My husband and I were indecisive about where to go for dinner on our last day in Edinburgh but we finally settled on this choice. This restaurant turned out to be incredibly well suited for our personalities and taste. It has a small and cozy vibe, the
Called ahead to book a table for a larger group. This is probably a must as the restaurant has limited seating so if you're coming at a busy time please do book ahead. The staff were nice throughout the visit not outstanding but pleasant enough. Yes the price is a little steep however that is totall
This may have been our best meal in Edinburgh. The staff was so kind and helpful. We came in during a dinner rush without a reservation and they made a table for our party of 5. The steaks were fantastic. You have to get the Sticky Toffee! The restaurant is warm and cozy.
Excellent fillet steaks. What more can you ask for? Very good, attentive and friendly service. We really enjoyed the evening.
Very nice small and cosy restaurant. We had an excellent diner with friendly service.
Food was amazing (we got ribeye steak). I also loved the haggis as the starter. Lovely meal
A cozy and lovely restaurant. The small space makes you warm, especially on a winter night. I had a Scottish smoked salmon with prawns and was splendid. I was lucky to find a table available.
The restaurant is quite small and easy going. This is one cosy place you just feel very comfortable in. The atmosphere in there is great and you can relax with great food. The starters we chose were tasty and the quality was great, we had the prawns, gratin and soup. They arranged them nicely on the
