The Wee Restaurant - Edinburgh - Photo album

What a delight. My wife and I don't often get out for lunch midweek but half term gave us the opportunity. The Wee Restaurant was so recommended by my son that he'd even given us a gift of some vouchers to ensure we didn't miss out. Great food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. Cannot re
Excellent! Had a lunch here and everything is perfect. Nice atmosphere, great service, decent price and the food tastes ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Love the pineapple tart ๐Ÿwith coconut ice cream ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿฆ Highly recommend the pork in main course๐Ÿท Cannot wait for the Easter lunch๐Ÿ˜
The food was very good as well as the service. But as in many other Edinburgh restaurants there is no excuse for including average/bad wines as an offer to pair with such good food.
The staff was extremely nice, diverse wine list (we had a nice Cab from S Africa), service was a great pace, nice discussion with the owner, the lamb with risotto was delicious, and the desserts wonderful. I could just go back for desserts.
Absolutely delicious! What a fantastic find. Delicious scallops and venison. My partner had pork shoulder which was tastier than some of the best steaks. We normally take pictures but we were hungry and the food looked too good to wait. Thank you for a great evening.
Went early because I knew that it would be popular later on not disappointed all very tasty and well presented.
What a great place! It manages to combine a great ambience with excellent food and reasonable prices to deliver a lovely evening out. The timing of the courses is just right.... All too often these days restaurants rush you through courses (very American! ) which doesn't allow you time to really enj
Easy access and well laid out dining room with pleasant decor. Extremely good service but the main did take a while to come. Good selection of wine, gin and beer. Food was very well prepared. I will definitely go back. Ambience was perfect, this is not a place for a rowdy party, more a happy occasi
I had very enjoyable evening there with my friends when visiting Edinburgh last weekend. Amazing food! Venison cooked to perfection and onion soup to die for! Waitress Siobhan really knew her stuff and had great recommendations, great service overall attentive but not bothersome. I highly recommend
I ate dinner here last night and everything I had was outstanding! I came in without a reservation and was lucky to get a seat (I recommend making a reservation). I started with the mussels which were tender and had a delicious broth. My second course was the pork. Honestly it was the most tender an
Excellent meal, I would definitely recommend it.
My wife and I visited on a weekend trip to Edinburgh. We found it by accident on a busy Saturday night, not having much hope that anywhere might have a table for us. But the Wee Restaurant was a fantastic find! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a charming atmosphere. T
Had dinner last night with my husband who had previously alerted the restaurant about my allergy and when we arrived they had already a list of everything I could eat in the menu, and even if he made clear that we wouldn't need any change in dishes to accommodate my allergy because I could have even
Good experience with high quality service, delicious food and splendid wine menu.
Excellent dropped in here just a table for two. Cosy with not too few or too many customers. Ordered the salmon starter with salmon main and fillet steak. The mains were lovely. The service was friendly and atmosphere good. We will go again ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Wee is a nice little spot. The Chef/s here are producing straight forward well exicuted food using some local Scottish products. I had grilled pork shoulder with patron peppers and it was really nice - also I started with local feta with tomatoes and glass of Champagne. They were busy when I arriv
The mussels were awesome. Just made the 'mistake' of eating all of it, leaving me with little room to eat the entree, the Iberico Pork. That was really good too, but I was too full to finish it. The Edinburgh Gin was refreshing and very good. Great customer service too!
Beautiful local food, good portions and value for money. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and perfect New Town location. Definitely check it out if you're looking for a high quality Scottish meal.
A wee restaurant with big potential! The service is friendly, slick, but not overbearing. The menu is well selected, with fresh seasonal items, all cooked and presented to perfection! Definitely worth a repeat visit.
