Very good experience in this Mash Bar! I got the lamb shank with smoked beans mash and it was perfect! Very good portion of food, perfectly cooked! Prices are affordable and the service is fast. Will recommend to any tourist who want to taste good cuisine from Scotland at a good price.
Cozy restaurant with very friendly staffs. With a reservation, everything is smooth. We ordered lamb and scottish beef sausage and a pudding desert. Pudding is fantastic while the beef is a little salty in its core. Will comeback next time.
Scottish classics done in an alternative way. Like the different mash options! Service was good and nice setting.
The crispy potato starter could do with improving - the cheesy chips could have been crospier and the cheese more melted. Other than that good meal.
This was the best food I have ever eaten! Definitely recommend and so gutted that this place is only in Edinburgh! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere with music. Food was served quickly and was delicious!

Yum. Sausages. Potatoes. What's not to like?! Staff were brilliant and helpful with suggestions (thank goodness they suggested we share some loaded skins as they are hefty portions!). Lovely food and friendly staff with great service. Really enjoyed our visit and the owner introduced himself and took a genuine interest in our dining experience. A hearty meal with good quick service in Edinburgh's West End. Will be back for sure.

Great food and people. Was looking for dinner but didn't want a fancy restaurant experience but something above pub food. Made a booking online really easily and the food was excellent.

Wonderful find, but gutted the restaurants are only in Edinburgh. Delicious food and outstanding, make-the-evening service. And a nice whisky to round it off.

The food and service were amazing, the beef skirt was juicy and was good match with chessy mash, the server smiled all the time.
