Quick & Plenty Cafe - Edinburgh - Photo album

We had an amazing experience at this local cafe in Edinburgh. Johnathan, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The haggis was exceptional, and we couldn't get enough of it. We visited twice and were pleasantly surprised with complementary dishes both times. The cozy ambi
Brought my boyfriend from the USA to Scotland for the first time. I wanted him to experience an authentic Scottish breakfast. I ordered the Hungry Tummy for him and the vegetarian for me.... Jonathan was friendly, knowledgeable, amiable, and even cooked up an amazing feast..... totally impressive!
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! The veggie option was much appreciated and the size choices were great. And if you are looking for a little sweet treat, the millionaire shortbread was delicious. Johnny and the staff were super friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend!
If you're in Edinburgh and you haven't checked out Johnathan's Cafe, you're seriously missing out! This place is an absolute must-visit if you want the ultimate Haggis and Tatties experience. And guess what? You even get to meet the man himself, Johnathan! He's such a friendly dude and made us feel
Great food and even better hospitality. I have been here two days in a row to eat breakfast for a reason! If you are Edinburgh, you must eat here.
Excellent little shoppe to get a taste of the local flavor; both food and culture. Had a terrific Kate breakfast of the Hungry Tummy, which includes a good portion of all the Scottish favorites. The haggis was one of the best features of the dish, although the bacon was also excellent. Much more aki
Johnny is amazing!! Traditional as it gets. Best haggis I've had in Scotland!
Thank you for the lovely breakfast! I had the most delicious typical breakfast and I even got haggis - I had to try the owner said! :) The owner and his co-worker were both so kind! Great coffee too!
We came from London yesterday and had a delicious breakfast here. All 3 of us had never tried haggis and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Very friendly service, the gentleman cooking the food gave us great information about the city and had a great sense of humour, would definitely
Was a very authentic experience of good hearty cooking. Definitely helped us recover from a night of well fuelled fun. It is not the cleanest place but we did not mind! :) The owner is extremely nice and gave us free desserts. I recommend if you want a nice hearty Scottish breakfast.
Absolutely lovely, chilled out staff! They welcomed my dog in too and fed him a plate of food that he licked clean❤️❤️ Jonathan, the chef, is very friendly, knowledgeable and makes people feel right at home by engaging with them personally. If you’re in Edinburgh and looking for an affordable greas
The best place for the breakfast in Edinburgh! Amazing atmosphere! The best and the most positive chef in Scotland!
Quick & Plenty Cafe truly felt like the most authentic Scottish dining experience we went to during our trip. Based on the environment, it was reassuring to figure out that this is probably where the locals eat. It definitely has hole in the wall vibes, but any casual foodie would know that’s where
This is where the locals eat! Oldest cafe in Edinburgh, and it did not disappoint. Delicious Scottish breakfast, and the owner even threw in some free haggis for us to try (it's surprisingly delicious)! Much cheaper and better quality than all the newer places around it.
Wanted a real experience when visiting Edinburgh. This cafe is perfect. Small, quaint and the staff are great. The food is just what you need and the chef sings along to his music. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Stopped in for a quick bacon roll and some cheesy hash with beans. Great little dinner , with good food & friendly service.
great vibe, classic scottish food and excellent lads! the best cafe in Edinburgh, warmed our travelled out hearts
I came here for breakfast yesterday and it might have been the best decision I made during my trip to Edinburgh. The owner (Jonathan) was very nice and warm and welcomed me into the restaurant and gave me the run down on the Scottish breakfast. I was a bit scared to try the haggis and black pudding,
Traditional breakfast was delicious, the owner was very hospitable, and the place is tiny and cool. Johnny does it all, he takes your order, cooks and serves up your food, and does the dishes too. Don’t forget to try the brown sauce! Johnny had a friendly word for every customer, whether they were r
