Another great find in Edinburgh for superb coffee. Was in close proximity to our hotel so we frequented this pretty little spot a few times. The flat white was presented beautifully & had a strong rich flavor with a smooth finish. Loved the pretty floral entry & modern interior
This is one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I love the different toast topping options and everything is really good quality and well prepared. Coffee is also excellent. The atmosphere is really pleasant as well.
Lovely spot for coffee and tea, we also enjoyed their breakfast. We came here every morning during our trip to Edinburgh. Excellent service and friendly staff.
We only stopped for coffee and tried their millionaire shortbread, which was delicious. To me the coffee was a bit too roasted to my liking but maybe it was just me 🥹😁 anyway, the staff is super lovely and kind :) I eyed the avocado toasts around me and if I weren’t full I woulda gotten some as they looked divine! :O
Cappucinno was nutty, deep, bold coffee with nice airy foams. Cheese toast was amazing! I add avocado, and it was the best!
Can’t really fault this place. It’s small so have a plan B if there are no seating. The staff are spot on. I noticed how on the ball they are at cleaning tables after someone has finished. The menu is good with options to cater for most diets. I went with the blackberry and Brie toast which was lovely. Initially I thought they maybe overdone it with the blackberries but it was great. My wife got scrambled eggs on toast which she also enjoyed. She also got a hot chocolate which was very good. To take away we got a millionaire shortbread and a ginger and cranberry slice. Both of them were nice but the ginger slice was brilliant with a lovely soft texture. The price of everything was not too expensive, especially for city centre.
Per gli italiani: il cappuccino non è niente male!
Continuing for the rest of the world, very cute place, the service is super nice and the food is prepared basically at the moment and is super good.
Also the coffee is quite nice so, recommended!
What a lovely cafe! The food and drinks were both excellent! We had a cappuccino, matcha latte, blackberry Brie toast, and berry bowl. Everything was excellent!
Highly recommended. Super friendly stuff, great food, very nice coffee. And dog friendly!!
Great coffee, superb food, amazingly fast and friendly service. We visited Edinburgh for three nights recently and had breakfast at Fortuna every morning. The place is tiny and gets packed, but it is worth the wait if you have to. The menu isn't long, but what is on there is truly tasty, with big portions and made with care by the excellent and super friendly staff. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
I would say that this cafe was really great, delicious food and service with welcoming and smiling staff
