The Khukuri Nepalese Restaurant - Edinburgh - Photo album

We really enjoyed our meal at this little restaurant. We hadn’t tried Nepalese before and we were not disappointed. We booked a table to not be disappointed as it was Fringe season. The other tables quickly filled up. The food was wonderful. Excellent quality ingredients and really enjoyable texture
Me and my husband being to many Nepali restaurants but the foods here hitted different. Excellent service, beautiful ambience, Nepali songs on the background and Excellent food. We were in Edinburgh for 4 days and this was our 4days dinner place. Hope to be there in next visit as well. I definitel
Amazing dinner here, had crunch creamy little Dahi Puri to start then stunning chicken momo with a delicious mango sauce and spicy chilli garlic momo too. The pilau rice is absolutely amazing and for main I had a korma with was 10/10 so creamy and flavourful- my other half had Khorsani Masala , not
Great place to enjoy some Nepalese food! Staff are lovely and the service was great - lots on the menu to choose from! Nice atmosphere inside. The momos were to die for!!
Tasty food. Excellent service. Authentic. Prices are decent. On high demand.
OMG! The food was absolutely delicious 😋 staff was very polite and nice. The waitress explained to us all the riddles that were hidden under the names on the menu, suggested wonderful dishes, and asked the cook not to make the food too spicy for us. The restaurant, despite the late hour, was full o
The food was extremely tasty. We were given very good advice and luckily the waitress recommended a side dish. Very high praise to the service. Rarely have we been served so well and so lovely
Excellent food. Very friendly service. Dinner here was a rewarding conclusion to our Scotland trip.
Delicious food: amazing assortment of starters and main courses. I had Tarkari and Kerau Paneer with Naan, both of which were balanced and simply delicious. The types of meals you need to finish even though you are completely full. The prices for the quality of food and service are really affordable
We were very warmly welcomed! Before we ordered, we were properly advised and recommended. Outstanding service! The food was delicious and authentic! We would 100% recommend the restaurant visit! Greetings from the Germans ✌🏻
Wow, the most amazing service and delicious food. The wait staff were happy and friendly and made our meal a pleasure. I love Nepalese food and highly rate this place. We were lucky to get a table. Recommend booking.
One of the best Nepalese restaurants we've tried, the food is authentic and so delicious. I came with my wife on our honeymoon in Edinburgh and this was the best experience we had so far. The service is incredible, we felt like home. The server Kanchan is so helpful and very kind, she is the best. T
This is a lovely resturant for a curry nice atmosphere. The food is amazing. Staff really nice. We were kept waiting to be seated but because of this the staff gave us complimentary starters for the inconvenience, which none of us expected and they were very apologetic. Would highly recommend if vi
Absolutely loved this place, great food and at decent prices with brilliant service. It was my partners birthday and they just made it easy for us to have a great time. Don't charge extra to take away your leftovers and great for vegetarians.
We came for the momo (one of our favourite dishes from our trips to Nepal over the years) but enjoyed everything else on the menu too! Thrilled to have discovered this spot. It had been recommended by a friend, and we're glad we found it. Fab service, wine etc, and one could tell by how busy the spo
Yesterday we went for dinner here to have some different types of cuisine. This restaurant serve some good nepalis cuisine along with Indian food. We were celebrating one of our colleague’s birthday. Things we like. 1. Chicken momos 2. Nonveg platers 3. Chilli garlic chicken 4. Some of their mains
The food was sooo amazing! We let the staff recommend us some meals and it was worth it. Portions were great and price was also absolutely acceptable. For 3 starters, 4 drinks, 2 naans, 2 half-sized mains and one full-sized and rice just £66. So rare to find such a hidden gem.
Good food, overall just fine. New Nepalese waitress was really helpful. I didn't leave 5 start for lack of atmosphere, and only one choice for glass of wine.
A group of 4 people, for second time, we've visited this Nepalese restaurant, first time the service was slow, but the restaurant was also quiet and we could enjoy a relax afternoon there, without the hurry of nowadays. Second time, this night, it has been amazing, everything full of flavour, and f
