Only just re-opened after having been closed for a few years, hense all the red, black and gold balloons. Nicely re-freshed with new paint and I think new upholstery, although I'd not been in prior to it closing for a while.
There are a number of TV screens about the place to watch football etc.
We didn't eat so cannot comment on the food, although I took a picture of the menu. But I noticed that there weren't any hot vegetarian courses.
The back patio is shut as they're refreshing it, but there are 3 picnic tables and umbrella's outside the front door.

Not been in for a while, called as passing. Food was amazing, expected cheap n cheerful bit was cheap and really nice food. Staff were friendly and chatty service at the table unexpected. Would definitely recommend and will be back with the family.

Myself and my wife have called in a couple of times now since the change in 'owners'. I have to say I'm super impressed!! The pub has had a mini make over, looks fab. The landlady is how a landlady should be. Chatty, friendly and informative. Great selection of beers. Live music every week. We will be back 👍🍺😁
The new decor is amazing! Such a beautiful place & the new owners are really welcoming! There is also an excellent selection of beers, wines & gins and are all priced reasonably well, can’t wait till they start food!

Great atmosphere and a good selection of drinks .Entertainment on a regular basis . Even a pool & darts as well as quiz nights. Lovely food . Lovely Sun Roast. And buster breakfast .

Excellent pub. Now under completely new ownership and management. Good beer at very reasonable prices with very friendly staff and clientele. No food atm but will be starting food soon.
Had a band on Callout was a really good evening.

Beware: Although we got to the pub by taxi the same firm (Metro) later drove off without reason when they met us for the return journey (different driver) and then the call centre explained that they didn't carry dogs, even though we'd been taken there by one of their drivers.
Ended up walking back to our digs at dusk along narrow country lanes (no pavements) with Audi drivers doing 50 mph whizzing past. Eventually managed to thumb a lift. Not from an Audi driver.
Great Wednesday night meal deal. 6pm-9pm a pint and pizza for £10! Pizzas are crispy based and full of flavour. Beer is Moorhouses, cider is Strongbow or Aspinalls. Lager is fizzy stuff! What's not to like? Well worth a visit.
Fab pub with some great fun nights such as quiz night and open mic night. Great little local pub with a good range of drinks at very reasonable prices.

Their Gin collection is a must for any Gin fan and they have a wonderful choice of good wines. All complemented by a fantastic TAPAS menu ..... Perfect pub for socialising with a great atmosphere 😀
Tried a Wednesday evening pizza + drink offer great real pizza oven cooked pizza, great for a mid week treat, welcoming staff, ring for a table as covid rules, notice someone had a takeaway. Thanks all
Stayed here for one night when we were attending a wedding in the area. The room was clean and the bedding and pillows obviously brand new. Very comfortable! Great value for money.
