This is the best cafe for miles, the staff are excellent as is the service. The food is excellent and good value. You will also get a great cup of coffe at half the price of high st outlets. Try it you will not be disappointed.

This is the new and best café in canons park Edgware they just opened. I went there with my family for a Sunday breakfast and it was amazing food and service and nicely decorated with a great ambiance.

I am regular at Canons Cafe ... They have delicious cold sandwiches ... my favourite is the fresh chips with sauce.

Went to this cafe for pre-parkrun coffee and post parkrun coffee and breakfast. Reataurant was clean, breakfast was delicious and coffee was great. Reasonably priced as well. Recommended!!!

This is not one of it is the best indian restaraunt you will find. My father has been going there before he was married witch is well over 20 years ago we have had cannons tandori cater 2 weddings for us including mine. On my wedding I called them 10 o'clock the night befor due to last minute cancelation and they said yes we can cater. The food was supperb and the price was great I would advice any one to eat out of this resturaunt. Thanks for reading from mr m cash

Best curry house in town. To start the waiters here will always accomodate you, no matter what lengths they have to go to, especially Elvis the main waiter.
Its busy most nights and gets absolutely packed on a weekend so it is an idea to book a table even if it is just for two!
I have held two different birthday meals here for two seperate friends, one was a table of 8 people and the other a table of 20 which turned into 25 on the night. The table of 8 we didnt book for in advance and turned up an hour and a half before we wanted it and they had no problems finding us somewhere. We were even given a complimentary birthday cake with candles and the other tables and all the waiter then sang Happy Birthday! We had two bottles of wine several more alcoholic drinks 8 main dishes, 6 rices, 6 nanns, bhajis and potatoes with poppadoms and it only came to £18.75 per head which was brilliant - we left a large tip for the great staff too.
The party of 25 was another great night at Cannons with no problems what so ever. They had no issue accomodating the extra 5 people at short notice. We had a great time in there and they even split the bills down for people into groups of four so as to make it simpler when paying.
This time I had a birthday cake organised and they happily put the candles on it for me and brought it out to us, they even had some cake with us!
I have also been here in two's with my partner and then friends on seperate occasions, never have I left this place dissapointed or unfulfilled, the food is always exceptional.
The pilau rice is light and fluffy with great flavour, the mixed grill is cooked to perfection and the Lamb Rogan is the best I have tasted. The keema naan is full of flavour and not too thick and doughy but just right all round! The Bombay potatoes are spicy - the onion bhajis and small and crisp and again full of flavour and not plain and fried to death!
This place is by far the best curry house around - I have tried curry houses all over Middlesex and this is the only one I would reccomend to family and friends as the quality of food, service and atmosphere is perfect and with great value for money you just cant complain!

Cannons is our favourite curry house, we always choose this venue for celebrations and have been attending since 1986... and hope to continue many more years to come.
The staff are kind, welcoming, very friendly and professional, well turned out and take huge care in their appearance and thus the standard of service.
Food arrives quickly, is always fresh and delicious... never have had any complaints. Ambiance is lovely, plenty of seating. Recommend choosing a booth at the back which is quite romantic.
By far the BEST chilli and mint sauces you'll get.
Advise to book, is it much more enjoyable to eat in and taste the food as it is piping hot. Really recommend for a great night out!
Delicious food. You can appreciate the different sweet, spicy and slightly sour flavors... Its colors describe the diversity that can be found in Indian food. We ordered delivery which the service was super fast and good. The food arrived in good condition. I leave you the names of what we ordered:

First time trying Canons Tandoori the food was really delicious definitely top class food also along with the service. The food was cooked very well hats off to the people in the kitchen. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and also very clean. I would recommend trying going to eat at the restaurant well worth it
1st time back here in 20 year and it was suprisngly good - The restaurant was packed on a Monday night and we were a table of 12 which is never going to be easy for any restaurant - but all the food was great, hot and moreish - only slight quibble were the prawns used for "king prawn puri " hardly 'king" prawn - I'd hate to see the size of regular prawn Puri !

If you like dishes like bhuna, madras, tikka masala and karahi then this is the place. Very nice lamb karahi. Much much better than so many punjabi restaurants which make heavy oily and (not really authentic dishes anyways) greasy curries.
Canons dishes are tasty and light. Excellent dal tadka….reminds of Indian dhaba’s. good naan. Biryani definitely needs a lot of improvement. Not their best of the dishes.

A big smile, this is how I went out from this restaurant, and this is how you want go out from every restaurant. I walk in with a bit of doubt, the place is not really spacefull and the bar is in a corner. I sit down and the waiter arrive , from the very first moment he attract my attention, he was welcoming, funny and knowledgeable about the menu, all in the right balance. We order , the food arrive not to quick and not to late, this is good i thought. Start to eat and from the first bite I been dragged in a new world of flavours, the balance of taste was really good and I could enjoy a really tastefull meal. From service to food this place can have my double thumbs up. I'll give the 5 stars, and this is rare , the restaurant have a lot of potential, can be decorated a bit better maybe. Defenetly I ll advice to try it, and if I am in the area again I ll go again here.

I have been eating here since 1985. Consistently great for 37 years. The owners are without doubt the most hospitable restauranteurs I have met. I imagine that I am far from alone in eating here over several decades. I now live overseas but every time I am back I visit and have a lovely evening.
