1st time back here in 20 year and it was suprisngly good - The restaurant was packed on a Monday night and we were a table of 12 which is never going to be easy for any restaurant - but all the food was great, hot and moreish - only slight quibble were the prawns used for "king prawn puri " hardly '

A perfect British Bangladeshi curry house!!
If you like dishes like bhuna, madras, tikka masala and karahi then this is the place. Very nice lamb karahi. Much much better than so many punjabi restaurants which make heavy oily and (not really authentic dishes anyways) greasy curries.

I have been eating here since 1985. Consistently great for 37 years. The owners are without doubt the most hospitable restauranteurs I have met. I imagine that I am far from alone in eating here over several decades. I now live overseas but every time I am back I visit and have a lovely evening.
