From Montreal, Canada and whenever we are in London we make it a point to eat there. By far the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The mix grill is amazing. The flavours, the meat just melts in your mouth.

Having been to Wembley many times over the past few months, this has become our watering hole of choice - and the food is superb. Very highly recommended. If you don't book in advance, queue - it'll be worth it.

I have ordered in from this place a couple of times. The food is usually delivered within 25-30 minutes and is always well packed.

I was not too impressed by their authentic Indian food, however, I absolutely love their burgers and other snacks! I always end up having a craving for their Veg Paneer Burger; it is a must order for me, at least once every two weeks.

Their portion sizes are great, and they give enough of their sauces, while also being pocket-friendly.

Recommendations:
-Maru Bhajiya
-Garlic Mogo
-Veg Paneer Burger with Chips

The place has been around for a long time and the food here is what you get they has not been a change in the taste. The drinks have improved here with a wide range coming in. If your around in the area then it's a must go place.

I was visiting some friends in the area and we decided to order in for dinner. I requested Indian food as a had a terrible craving for it, so they highly recommended this place and said they order from here at least once a week so I readily agreed.

The food was delivered within 40 minutes and was well packaged and once you opened it up every single dish looked visually appealing and didn't have a powerful odour and it was just carrying around a mild smell of spices so I knew we were off to a good start.

Finding Authentic Indian in a foreign Country is usually a bit of a challenge but this place delivered on all fronts, to know that they have been functioning for decades and still maintain high quality standards and incredible taste is such a delightful surprise.

I found the food economically priced for the taste and quality. We ordered an array of dishes and none disappointed

The dishes I highly recommend are
Mogo : this dish of fried potatoes though not of Indian origin is delicious
Mushkaki : succulent and flavour packed
Methi chicken : well balanced in spices and not very spicy with the chicken cooked to perfection
Dal : the plain and simple yellow dal was the perfect accompaniment for my rice and chicken curry

Every time i'm in the area and wanting Indian food this place will be my go to choice for certain.

Authentic Indian!
Ordered in on a friend's recommendation. Have to say, we may found the best authentic Indian food in London. Well around London ;) it's a bit away from the central. But definitely worth the tube ride.
The Methi chicken and Mutton dishes were a delight. For starters do order the garlic Mogo and Mushkaki. They do have a chef's special Bombay Chicken Bahar which is a curry with quite a flavor explosion.
I always order the Dal at any Indian restaurant and they really nailed the yellow Dal.
Must visit!

Great concept: Bar / Restaurant. Extensive range of main dishes and really good starters especially for those light snacks when watching sport and having a few with the lads. The grills are exceptional. The chicken wings and kebabs hit home. Really liked the Chilli paneer - great flavor. The spicy curries are hot - beware! This is my regular stop when in London!

The Regency Club - The ambience is so english that you might confuse it for an english pub. This place is a great choice for all the Desi people. Love the piri fries, the garlic mogo, the Balti chicken and the garlic naans.

Ambience : 8/10
Food : 9/10

Recommended for all the Indians and Pakistani's.

The chicken wings and briyani was delicious. It was a busy Friday evening, without reservation so we had to wait a bit. Inside, I love how they kept items that provide glimpses of the venues hidden past. We also did have a takeaway bag

Great place to have some delicious Indian food!
We were eight of us  - ordered lots of items given that the restaurant had various choices in its menu.
- Ambience was good, comfortable and well lit place with TVs nearby telecasting cricket match
- All the items were tasty and delicious with good portions being served

Can easily say that it is one of the few places in London offering good Indian food.
Thanks to  @Amit Thakkar for treating us there. Had a great time!

Pleasant staff, amazing food and a good atmosphere.

Went there for Father's day without a booking, and managed to get a table straight away. By the time we left there was a queue of at least 30 people waiting to be seated.

Best Authentic Indian Food. I think it best to start by clearing up a misconception, it is a club not a restaurant. Regency is not designed to be a dining experience and upon entering you will realise this. It started exclusively as a gentlemen's club for drinking but then the food became so good they opened their doors to all however it is not child friendly in the evenings. The decor and the seating is not the best but remember you are there purely for the food.

Having been to several indian restaurants I can without doubt say that the food at Regency is the best by a country mile and is authentic. The key for me is the consistency, every time I have been there and ordered the same dishes they have been equally excellent. The food comes out hot and fairly quickly also. The starters are the best dishes and if you are going there for the first time I would recommend you stick exclusively to the starters. The dishes you have to order are the garlic mogo, tandoori lamb chops and crispy fried chicken wings.

Another important piece of information to know if you are going there for the first time is that they do not take bookings. The food is that good that they have no need to and are constantly busy every night of the week. I would not recommend going there on a Friday or Saturday night unless you are happy to wait over an hour for a table. Try a Monday or Tuesday night. The prices are very reasonable and you will leave very happy with your meal.

Crowded, dim lighting and a bubble of chatter. That's what I remember from my 1st time but I honestly loved the place, and I'm a very fussy person. But everything just goes here it makes sense for it to be old looking with the business men sitting in the booths and at the tables after work its like your in a film. Food is great from starters to main it's all very good. This place has so many loyal customers it doesn't even need to advertise it the foo speaks for itsel and word of mouth is enough. Waiting times on a Sunday which is the only family day can be long I'm not sure how long we are friends so didn't have to wait for too long. I know the wait isn't unbearable though. Even when we were sitting a family friend walked stopped to say hello and told us e had brought his relatives from America to eat here as they remember it from another visit to the uk when thy had eaten there..! All in all, just try it out for yourself!!

Good food, doesn't cost the Earth!. Very good starters selection and price. Garlic mogo is an all time favourite, can sometimes produce below 'par' food, but most times hits the spot perfectly..service is adequate/good. Good atmosphere.

The chicken tikka was probably the best I’ve had in London whilst the lamb chops would give even Tayyabs a run for its money. The mogo was a revelation whilst the chilli garlic prawns were so addictive I ended up eating the whole plate by myself (my mate was not best pleased!)

You can go far with £50, so off I went to North-west London on a train to Queensbury for some Indian. Lucky for us the restaurant is not far from the station. I didn’t do much research prior to my visit. I was expecting a fine dining restaurant. Little did I know once we had been buzzed in, a whole new world was behind those closed doors. The whole place was lit up and lively, music blasting, punters playing darts, barmen pulling pints. There’s plenty of room inside with booths and tables. The toilets had posters of Lily Allen, apparently it’s one of her favourites.

The Regency Club is an Indian restaurant in a parade of shops near Queensbury tube. The “Club” label is something of a misnomer, since although the establishment was once a members club, there is now no effective distinction between members and non-members. Inside it is decorated very much like a traditional pub, with wood panelling and a number of booths to the side as well as tables around the bar area, with an open kitchen to one side of the bar. There were video screens showing sports fixtures, and Bollywood film music played in the background. The dining room is large yet tables were being turned even on the Sunday night that we visited. The clientele was almost entirely Asian.

For what is, after all, a former Wetherspoons pub, this place is amazing. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The place buzzes (it is, remember, a pub), but everyone is made welcome and the food is out of this world. AND at pub prices! I know people who travel down from Milton Keynes and Birmingham just for the food at Regency. Probably the best Indian food ever.

Awesome food - a place to satisfy your taste buds.
A great prompt service inspite of being busy or not so busy hours.
The ambience gives you feeling of coziness and warm.
A mix of Indian and African food. All options for a drink and dine. Nice tikkas, spicy mogos and awsome peanut masala chat for a starter.
I would recommened this place to all those who like spicy food.

A mostly terrible dining experience , rushed, noisey and unrelaxed...but oh the food..

The Indian African menu is what it all about! Hands down the best Indian food you will get in London. Brilliant non veg and superb veg dishes . Stand out are the Crispy Bhindi and garlic mogo. All the lamb curries..cooked to perfection . Great selection of meat grills starters, only let down being the bland Lamb chops . Go Malibu club for that.

So will I be returning ? Food this good...u have too.

There’s plenty of room inside with booths and tables. The toilets had posters of Lily Allen, apparently it’s one of her favourites.

We were quickly seated in a booth with a long table. There are plenty of choices from the menu. Plus the food was very cheap and we even struggle to think of things to order to use up the £50.

We ordered a hella of a lot of food between the two of us; the table was filled to the rim with all our food, with our platters, curries, bread. All the food aromatic, consistent with deep flavours, the spice level is mild and my stomach managed to tolerant it well. I was particular in love with the brooding grilled meats from the platter. Oooh the curry just dissolved in my mouth instantly, tantalising the taste buds.

The portions were so tremendous that I had to takeaway 3 bags worth of food home and ate Indian for the next 3 days to finish it. £50 gets you a banquet and I advise to bring at least 4 people to feast like kings and queens.

Having just moved to London, we were introduced to this place by our friends who drive nearly an hour quite frequently to just eat at this place. Warm welcome, pleasant staff and a nice pub feel. The starters were fabulous. Our first trip was only about the starters and we cannot complain. The second was more elaborate and once again a complete hit. Every dish leaves its unique taste for you to come back.

I was kindly given a £50 voucher to spend here by Zomato for a previous review (thankyou!). We arrived at the restaurant and were a bit confused about where the entrance was. Turns out you have to be buzzed in! There was a good atmosphere inside although it felt more like a pub than a restaurant. There were mainly Asian customers which was a good sign.

Since there were 4 of us, we decided to order a mixture of things and share. We ordered a variety of starters and mains, it all arrived about 10 mins later, very speedy! Everything was generally tasty but the potato stuffed paratha, chicken wings and lamb methi curry were particularly delicious.

The restaurant is very relaxed with delicious food. I can see why they were packed out on a Wednesday night. The only criticism I can give is that they had a football match showing on several screens around the restaurant which was a bit distracting but all in all a nice meal out.

I have known this resturant for a long long time. It is always busy with locals and have known many to travel just to eat here.

In the old days the food may have been too hot for some but these days it is much easier on the tongue. The food has remained consistent over the years which is a real sign of quality.

Anyone looking for something traditional where the local community eats and meets this is the right place for you.

Very good Indian restaurant near queens bury station. Ambience is perfect for drinks and dinner. It's a place frequented by locals living nearby though you will not have to wait for long without being served . Food is good, though on spicy side. However you will like the spread and quantity of food served here.

My favourite is chilly paneer and chicken. I would definitely recommend fresh passion fruit juice.

Service is very personalised and prompt. I wish they had a branch in central London though going all the way to north London for a lovely Indian meal is worth it....

Atmosphere was so good, staff were attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much, they even replaced all our drinks without us asking when a glass was smashed near us. Same manager has been running this place for over two decades. Food exceptional, think this is the best Indian restaurant you’ll find in northwest London!

I have been visiting Regency for over 10 years and always have a great time. The food is always consistent. Regency continues to be a casual place to go to and great if you like sports. It attracts a lot of British Indians that continue to support this Kenyan-Indian cuisine. Due to the popularity, it is not somewhere you can stay for 2+ hours. Food comes quick and you’ll need to leave to accommodate others. This visit was my first going for a weekend lunch and trying the unadvertised lunch menu, which is great value for money. £15 for one starter (from a specific selection), any main, rice and naan and a dessert. A solo lunch portion size but perfect for a lunch.

Heard about Regency Club through social media and had to try it out. The place was super busy even for a weekday which is a good sign. The food quality was good and also right portion size. The staff were friendly and helpful good atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to try any of the main dishes was too stuffed on the starters (next time for sure). Definitely worth a visit for Indian Fix.

Absolutely incredible food! This restaurant offers an amazing Indian menu with live sports/bar. Very busy on the weekend so would definitely book online. We had the bhindi masala, plant based chicken curry, Marahi methi lamb, tilapia fish and keema peas - all were sensational! They have a range of drinks, soft, beers, cocktails and mocktails. The restaurant is spacious with a variety of table sizes. On the weekends it’s no children in the evening. We had more than enough food for 5 people and the bill came to £150- very reasonably considering the quality of food!

Very lively restaurant and bar, excellent food and portion size very generous although you pay a premium price for size. The food quality is very high, good cuts of meat. Tender lamb and king prawns were on point. Particularly enjoyed the fresh Bombay mix, chopped onion, green chilli, nuts, crispy tortilla type mix / presented in a wooden bowl with two spoons. Clever stuff. We ordered lots, but took a fair amount away in a doggy bag.

We enjoyed our lunch here, We hadn't been in many years but the quality of food remained the same. We ordered lots of starters and they all were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. Had done a takeaway of methi corn and chaana masala which I had later on in the evening, and both dishes were average so can't comment a lot on the mains. But all the starters are very very good and would recommend it. Please try for yourself but this place has been around for years and always buys so that says a lot about the quality and services they provide. Staff are very good and prompt with food and taking orders

I live in Colindale and I'm so lucky to have this restaurant nearby - it is my favourite place for Indian food! We ordered the Mushkarki, the legendary Garlic Mogo and Keema peas. The Mushkarki was perfectly grilled and so tender. The Garlic Mogo was delicious but be warned if you eat too much of it you won't have space in your belly for the main! The Keema Peas and peshwari nan arrived last and was a perfect combo. Pricewise the dishes aren't expensive and the dish sizes are good - would recommend 👍

The food holds a good standard against your average Indian restaurant. Curries were NOT oily, flavours were balanced, portion sizes are fair, and service was efficient throughout. Would recommend the tandoor lamb and chicken, which were impressively tender and full of flavour. As mentioned by other reviewers, restaurant is very strict with its closing hours and staff are not shy to usher their customers out.
