Food was great, got there at the wrong time for lunch which is at 12pm and breakfast is from 9am to 11.30am waited for the lunch menu.
Had a bouncy castle at for the kids to go on which was a great idea before food.....
but this place has no children high chairs at all !! So make sure your children can sit on normal chair to eat.
Great views on a sunny day. An extremely spacious bistro with lots of seating outside. The cake is very good. I look forward to trying one of the cooked breakfasts next time I'm in the area. Ample parking is just out front, which is shared with the adjoining shop that sells mainly equestrian equipment and gardening supplies.
Love it! Nice and friendly atmosphere, fresh quality food nice and warm.
Clean and quiet for a brunch, really good and not overpriced.
The quality of the coffee was a particular highlight - a delicious espresso like in Italy .
Nice location and, for us, rarely crowded although I've been told its busy at weekends when they do a good roast on Sunday.
In the time I've been going here they have finally found how to make a good coffee. It seemed strange, to me a Londoner used to big city coffee culture, a place with a top of the range machine should make such poor coffee. Fortunately those days are long gone and I can enjoy the coffee on their vast terrace.
Now it's autumn and indoors for most folk it's lively to stop there. Customers are wonderful as I'm usually there with 2 Labradors and, occasionally, my partner. Country folk do love their animals whether horses or dogs.
A recent change has been some themed evenings/nights for dinner. My partner and I went to an Italian themed dinner which was reasonable.
Met with friends this morning for coffee and breakfast. It was their first time there and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The eggs Benedict and breakfast muffins were piping hot and the carrot cake was first class. Itβs in a beautiful location, and well worth a visit. Itβs also fully accessible for anybody in a wheelchair. I was able to have a chat with the manager, who was very busy, but found time to talk to me. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Christmas Day lunch was absolutely delicious! Nothing to fault at all. Same usual friendly staff giving up their Christmas Day to spoil their customers and spoil us they did! Course after course did not disappoint. We loved it and ready to book in again for next year!
Very tasty brunch at Pronto today. We can recommend the eggs florentine and the full English breakfast. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a view of the countryside.
Went there for lunch today... My Wife had peri peri chicken and I had burger... Both delicious with high quality produce..cooked to order and worth every penny. Staff and waitress polite and attentive. Waitress knowledgeable about menu and drinks.. other diners complementary to her too... Wonderful views..Definitely going back...
After visiting the cafe mid week with cycling friends and having a wonderful lunch (the houmous and egg muffin was amazing) we decided to book for Sunday lunch. We certainly weren't disappointed it was the best Sunday lunch ever, so many different vegetables and all cooked perfectly. The staff were so helpful even moving a table for us so we could sit outside. We will definitely be back.
Celebrated Yvonne's 70 th birthday last evening, food was excellent and Catherine, Stuart and all Staff were brilliant so friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend Pronto Bistro to anyone seeking good food and excellent service.
Only had tea and Latte to takeaway this time, but they do have some lovely cakes that we have tried. Really nice friendly people, they have enlarged the premises from what was quite a small cafΓ© before they took over. They still welcome cyclists and have installed bike rails outside. Plenty of parking outside too.
What a lovely place, we throughly enjoyed our visit, the roast dinner was delicious and the service friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and would highly recommend for food, service and spectacular views while you dine.
