Would like to thank everyone at The Bell in Eccleshall I won a Sunday lunch for four + a bottle of wine. I can honestly say it was fantastic. I cook a Sunday lunch every week and always say I won't go back unless it's as good as mine. The beef was cooked well with just enough pink in the middle, big fat Yorkshire puds, plenty of veg, And lashings of gravy. 6 very happy people bursting at the seams. We were just sorry we could not eat it all. Would recommend Sunday lunch at The Bell to anyone. P.S. we will be back

It was my first visit. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Was a bit disappointed the singer hadn't started by 9.30 as I had to go home. (Was driving and was struggling to resist a 'house double' vodka!) I'll definitely be back, without the car!!! Thanks to my mate, Binny' for introducing me to The Bell xx 🍷🍻

A lovely friendly pub. Nice beer and serves very nice simple snacks, pork pies, scotch eggs and sandwiches, all really nice quality.

Great pub been going there on and off for years. However, One or 2 of the customers should get their mouths washed out - Unfortunately, the Landlord didn't say anything so wont be visiting again for awhile to listen to that.

I’ve not been in the bell for a long long time, but I’m having visited the other day. I will make sure that I’m a regular visitor, really enjoyed the beer, and the atmosphere was brilliant, a real change around for this place👍

Under new management (Zoe & Chris), which has made a big difference. Incredibly friendly, beer well kept and a warm atmosphere. Ideal local pub in Eccleshall.

Fantastic pub, so traditional you can almost feel the ghosts of 200 yrs ago sitting in a snug around the corner having a private conversation. It's an ancient building and a real proper pub still. Coffee is fantastic, atmosphere is fantastic and the staff and Landlord and landlady are lovely and so welcoming. It's in a beautiful setting on the high street and very quaint. Tvs always showing sport and a steady stream of drinkers in and out all day long. Open all day and they've just started doing pub food which I look forward to trying. Lovely big garden too.

Furst time here, as recommended by a local in the village. Sarah, one of the managers, was exemplary in her welcome, manner and service. Nothing too much trouble. Steaks cooked to perfect medium as asked for. We will call again.
