Albert Edward - Eccles - Photo album

A first time visit to this somewhat anonymous pub. Sam Smith's, so my kind of pub. Very friendly staff and locals, traditionally in a Sam's pub, no TV, no juke box or one armed bandits and best of all no mobile phone use. Nice separate rooms, and spotlessly clean. A credit to the Landlord and Landla
Used to be a relaxing and reasonably priced pub. However it's been closed down since July 2022. So who knows what the future of this pub is? If indeed it has one! It appears to be one of the latest casualties in the relentless demise of the British pub. Very sad indeed.
Good beer at a great price. It's a man's pub.would'nt go in with my wife, lads only.
