We love the selection of lager here. It's informal. You can bring dogs so it's nice for a pint after a walk. Always busy on the weekend but friendly.
My favourite place to go for a drink in Monton. Really good selection of beer including from local breweries, and available in 2/3rds. I only tend to drink beer here but they also have wine, fizz and a good range of whisky and gin and I love an aperol here in the summer!

We went for our engagement party with a small group of about 20 people and the owners were more than accommodating and the atmosphere was great not a single complaint everything was amazing couldn't recommend anywhere better

The malt dog, is one of the best if not the best beer caves in monton, it has a brilliant open mic night run by the self proclaimed “papa flamingo” who dazzles and entertains like no other once a month, and that Dolan fellas not to bad either on the alternate one, the bar is staffed by “swoosh girl”
