My husband and I came to the crown for some lunch today. I ordered the "classic burger" . That was legitimately, the best burger I have ever eaten. My goodness. Compliments to the chef!!.

Visited for a quiet evening meal with my wife. Been here quite a few times over the years. Usual good Chef and Brewer standards. Easy parking. Very easy booking online. Could use a light outside main entrance. Not good on way in and worse on exiting going from light to dark and had to be careful with my footing - easily fixed and maybe just a light bulb required. Starters were good and good selection of wines by the glass. My wife’s main course was a seafood grill which she really enjoyed. I had the Atlantic cod and chips which was OK - bit disappointed though as a few years ago, this choice used to be really great with triple cooked chips and amazing golden fluffy battered cod. Now very average chips and a dark brown slightly over cooked flat battered fish. But, quite tasty nonetheless. Pricing was reasonable and faultless friendly and prompt service. Certainly will return, but sadly won’t order the quality reduced Atlantic Cod

Great gluten free meal, many thanks to the chef. We loved our seafood grill, risotto, cheesecake. . and, the wine. All was very, very good. Also, great attentive, but not intrusive service. Only could be a little bit faster, but again,it was a busy time, so had to wait a bit. We would highly recommend this place. Would be back if passing by again!

Proper pub atmosphere. Reasonable range of beers. Food is good and there's always a couple of interesting specials. They do seem to run out of things quite often.

One of my favourite gastro pub locations in greater Cambridgeshire! I introduce friends to this pub at every opportunity! The service is great! The food is divine! And the pub is so nice and cozy. I have enjoyed the menu developments for over 6 years. Today I tried their pigeon appetiser...yummy!

This a gem of a place. The staff are super nice. The food was really, really good. We had the Cod & chips and Tikka Masala. The pub interior is one of the nicest I've seen. Even the bathrooms are super nice and clean (I only saw the Men's toilet, but I'm sure the women's is just as nice.) Oh, and the car park is huge!! I highly recommend this place.

What a great pub! I booked for 25 people and they were able to get all the food out all together and were great for going round asking for drinks orders constantly we all felt well looked after. Food was georgous and they even accustomed for a fussy eater and gave him two kids meals. Thank you so much this was a great night with all the family before my wedding.

Lovely old pub/ restaurant very friendly staff. We had a family party there. Most of the food was fantastic, but some was not as good, the steak and ale pie needed to have more meat in it. 3 people had it, and all said the same. Someone had the fish and chips. The fish was mostly batter, not must fish. On the cooking side, all the dinners look very nice. I had the smothered chicken that was fantastic. I would go back again for a meal. You just need to mind your head on the very low beams.

My friend and I went to The Crown for my birthday recently. On arrival our table was ready. We both chose a small roast dinner. It was lovely and hot and there was plenty of vegetables and meat. After an interval to let our food digest, we looked at the desserts, yum !! We both chose the rhubarb one on the specials board. It was delicious. We finished the meal with a coffee. I would definitely recommend going to The Crown for Sunday lunch. The food and the staff were both excellent.

I went with a group of 19 others. We'd all pre-ordered our food weeks ago as we've found out it's normally a quicker service, but we still had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our lunch to arrive at our tables. The waiter looked stressed.
