Fantastic experience at the first visit. Ollie was very good and took good care of me. He was very friendly and made me feel very welcome.
Food was OK. The burger meat was a bit chewy. I but the side of coleslaw on it to add more flavour.

We visited The Highwayman on a Saturday lunchtime and found plenty of parking available. On entering the pub, it was very clean and well maintained.
Staff greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us to our table.
The menu was a good mix between honest pub grub and something a little different. We had a vegan, vegetarian, and two meat eaters in our party, and we all managed to find something we wanted with no bother.
The food was cooked really well and presented beautifully. As were the drinks, of which they had a great selection to satisfy both drinkers and non drinkers.
Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable when it came to answering questions about the food and drinks.
Even though it was a Saturday lunchtime and attached to a hotel, it wasn't too busy, and we were able to enjoy a nice quiet lunch without too much noise or distractions.
The toilets were also really clean and well maintained.
As we left, the staff and manager bid as goodbye and wished us well, which made the visit very personal, and we will definitely return when we are back in the area.
Huge pub attached to Premier Inn, great indoor play area for young kids. We reserved a table for 23 which not many places would do. Ended up splitting the party inside/outside as we had two dogs and they are only allowed on the patio. Food was mostly excellent but there was one family's order that didn't arrive - dealt with by the very good staff. A bit cold for some of the kids indoors - aircon too efficient?
Popped in for a bite eat after a long day out. Standard fare the same as Hungry Horse etc. Tasty, well cooked and fairly priced. Olly was polite and professional. The music nicely un-invasive.
Visited to celebrate a 5th birthday and the staff were incredible and added such an extra sparkle to her birthday celebrations. Everyone enjoyed their food and the kids loved running around in the soft play, but the service really was the highlight of the evening.
My chips were luke warm but the other two meals were fresh and hot.

Lovely carvery today here. Always delicious but today was brilliant! Ollie the bar man was so attentive and helpful even tho we was sat in the bar! The best bar man we’ve been served by here
This is a fantastic place to come. The staff are amazing. The guy that was in charge of the family area last Sunday went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. He really was excellent. The food was great. (see photo) as tasty as it looks. Chef was great too. Barstaff very friendly. Place just had a great vibe to it. And that's down to the staff. Can't wait to come again. The soft play is a real winner for the children. Highly reccomend this place for food and fun for the children.
Very busy and had to ask where our desserts were (which were ice cream so shouldn't have taken long). Otherwise, carvery was perfect.
