This is one of those pubs that you feel at home in! Love the warm welcome, variety of food and evening entertainment it offers. Also very recently has added a lush Brunch menu and an extended outside seating area ready for the summer !
Decent β€˜pub fare’. Steak pie, chips, peas and gravy! Good price, good atmosphere and good service. Went in for a work lunch and served promptly. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Recommend.
Lovely little pub, thought we would give it a try after reading loads of positive reviews and we weren't disappointed πŸ‘Œ few Stella's for me and gin for the other half. Then the pulled BBQ beef burgers for food πŸ‘Œ the food was so good.
Sunday roast, very nice in good price, meat was perfectly prepared, the same veggie, 6 stars for chef, well done.
Had the eggs benedict and toast on the side, the eggs were perfectly poached, absolutely lovely. The only niggle was the butter for the toast was rock hard.
I had a very nice lunch there. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly 😊 I'll be back, for sure!
We enjoyed a leisurely Sunday lunch, there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. We had a roast dinner, big portions, hot and delicious πŸ˜‹ We made room for a pud, the sticky toffee pudding was very morish. We will definitely visit again.
Fantastic cheese and bacon burger still hot after I eat most of it and chips still hot. Decor been updated and clean. Good selections of lagers and two real ale doom bar and award winning Timothy Taylor landlord. Recommend this to anyone.
Absolutely delicious and visually perfect full English breakfast
Visited for Sunday lunch. Typical menu. Fantastic food. Excellent service and very accommodating.
It's good to see a pub full, particularly early in mid week. Lovely friendly atmosphere. I popped in for an evening meal on my own. The barman although busy, got a waitress to seat me. I had the steak and ale pie, which was delicious and a proper pie (not just a pastry topping), followed by apple cr
Excellent food choices and quality. New beer garden to the rear tastefully done and to a good quality. Plenty of seating available.
Very good pub grub. We had the beer battered haddock and a friend had the lasagna. All was very good 😎
Food was amazing, reasonably priced. Loved the outside on a Friday night, looks really good with the ropes and lights. Also, kids license is untill 9 which was really good. It allowed my daughter to join :) update - this time I didn't go for food but everything was still great.
Sunday roast was top-notch! A Cozy lively atmosphere with friendly staff. Lots of beer on tap to pick from, along with other drinks. Cannot fault the Sunday roast, everything cooked well and tasty! 1 star lost for service being a tad on the slow side, but we were in no rush.
