Good food, children's play area and plenty of parking. Could have done with a few guest ales but would definitely go again, not least because the play area kept the children entertained while we were ordering and waiting for the food to be cooked.
Food very good value for money.( sea bass and scallops with pea and prawn risotto for £11!, restaurant area and toilets very clean.staff friendly.visited on way back from Marwell Zoo.would go again
The food is lovely and reasonably priced for the quality. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm even during school holidays it's still a lovely place to be. The staff are always friendly and happy to help and the drinks menu is varied. The kids enjoy the outside play area and it's safe away from the ro
Stopped off here after walking from the zoo. Had a drink and ordered food, although food was incredibly slow. We asked for a doggy bag and was able to take the food away as we had to leave. As well as this they also were lovely enough to give a refund. Food was lovely and staff seemed friendly and b
We visited for lunch. Each had homemade pie. The chicken pie crust was extremely hard mostly unedible but our lamb pies had puff pastry top and was delicious. Finished with a lovely pudding.
Very nice, clean pub/restaurant but very quiet. We would visit again
Great pub with a fantasticly relaxes atmosphere. They are always accommodating of you kids, making sure you are comfortable. We were seated at 5, had ordered, been served both mains and puddings by 6. All the food was delicious, warm and plentiful, even the children's meals were not an after thought
Very good Sunday Roast. Generous portion, crisp potatoes, lovely Yorkshire pudding and great Top Site of Beef. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Don't be put off by the slight tired looking interior. Can heartily recommend the place
The budget menu was excellent. Had prawn cocktail starter and it was huge. Cauliflower tart and they swapped chips for jacket. It was lovely and very filling. Bargain. £8. Only downside. Drinks including coffee a little on the expensive side. Friendly staff. Dogs allowed on tiled area. Will go again
Light, bright and airy atmosphere with very pleasant staff; just changed ownership. Sunday roast was very good and tasty, if not a little tired in the veg dept due to end of day serving. Great little kids play area and just around the corner from Marwell Zoo. Overall recommended and new owner listen
The Queen's Head is rated 5 star 🌟 on the food hygiene rating and you can tell by the quality of the food here. The price of food is very reasonable for both lunchtimes and dinner. I regularly visit here with my work colleagues, as we work just down the road and we always enjoy it here. The drinks a
1st time I have been to The Queens Head in a very long time. It was a Thursday and there is an offer of steak night for £7 and you can upgrade your steak to fillet go £4. (Bargain) it was cooked to perfection and was the tastiest steak I have had in a while. We ordered 4 meals and they were all very
I come here weekly. Overall its very good value for money. Great staff. Sometimes the food could be better but I've not had any really bad experiences. Vegetarian options are good, and the curry night is exceptional.
