Fantastic place. Lovely view, polite, helpful staff. Didn't have to wait too long for the food which was delicious and piping hot. Couple of things on the menu were not available but that was the only negative point. Would definitely go again.

Great place in the summer for dinner outside by the pond on a sunny day or cosy in the winter with the log fire on the go and good hearty food!! Took my girlfriend on our first date here 3 years ago and we come back every few weeks as it's our favourite place to eat out can't recommend enough 🙂

Always good here, even on a reduced menu excuse of a chef being sick, but the food was delicious and the staff and service was as always awesome,

We were there yesterday for lunch and couldn’t fault the service. In fact, the service we received was worthy of a Michelin star restaurant in the West End of London. Maybe the way staff are treated by customers reflects in the service given. We had a bottle of wine and the 2 course lunch menu and were extremely happy with our food. We will be returning. Thank you for a very pleasant lunch in beautiful surroundings.

Food and service was lovely, although the potatoes were quite hard out waitress was very friendly and food came out very quickly. Unfortunately the manager was rather loud when talking about other teams member personal things, and his own personal home life. We found it very unprofessional and found him to be rather rude.

The place was beautiful and the service was good but not to a high standard things were forgotten and trying to get attention was a bit of a challenge at times the food was nice typical pub grub which was why we went. Just would have been nicer if the staff serving seemed happier and more efficient

We visited as a couple on a busy Friday night. Nick, our server, gave us a warm welcome and was very apologetic for the busyness, but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and a leisurely meal as we had planned. We were asked about any allergies and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink were plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced and the cosy interior and views of the lake are always a delight. Special thanks to Nick and the rest of the team for a lovely evening, thank you. We look forward to our next visit!

Great little gastropub in Eastleigh, dog friendly option. We went for brunch time, service was attentive and the location is really nice, definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxed and cozy vibe to enjoy some food. Overall, a positive experience with some small buggy things. Food was on the good side, good quality ingredients for the full English. On the negative, the Eggs Royale was VERY weak, we do not recommend as the smoked salmon was not good and the crumpets were completely stale and not edible - we did say this to the server but did not offer any replacement or reduction, which we found to be very strange.

Just had a lovely meal here. The food was great and the setting, well, wow!! A fab view over the lake. A very nice atmosphere and the staff were great. We were served by Nick, what a lovely chap and very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the lake. Will definitely be back there again soon. Highly recommended.

My visit to Fishers Pond was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant's setting was absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque location that added a touch of magic to our dining experience. Surrounded by nature's beauty, we couldn't have asked for a more serene backdrop for our meal. Now, let me rave about the food. We indulged in their delectable roast dinners, and they were pure perfection. My roast was cooked to perfection, with tender, succulent meat that practically melted in my mouth. The sides were equally impressive, offering a delightful combination of flavours and textures that complemented the main dish wonderfully. What made Fishers Pond truly exceptional was their commitment to catering to all dietary needs. I enjoyed a flavorful vegan and gluten-free curry that was a masterpiece in itself. The rich, aromatic curry was not only a treat for their taste buds but also a reflection of Fishers Pond's dedication to providing diverse and inclusive menu options. As we savoured our meals, we couldn't help but appreciate the tranquil scenery surrounding us. The natural beauty of the location elevated our dining experience, making it a moment to remember. The lush greenery and serene waters added a touch of enchantment to our evening, making it even more special. Fishers Pond is more than just a restaurant; it's a captivating experience. From the exquisite food to the breathtaking scenery, every moment spent there was memorable. Whether you're a fan of classic roast dinners or in search of dietary-specific options, Fishers Pond delivers on all fronts. I left with a full belly, a contented heart, and a desire to return to this enchanting haven soon.

The location and the views are just amazing and what got us here in the first place! Next was the amazing hospitality from everyone on shift, especially Nick, our waiter! He even put out child's order through immediately so she doesn't have to wait too long (first time a waiter has done this for us even though we asked in the past!). The food was delicious and the portions were decent. We'll definitely be coming back when in the area again!

We had a lovely dinner at Fishers Pond. We were a group of 5 which included my 4 year old. The setting was lovely. It's right on the pond and the views are gorgeous. I will definitely go for lunch there on a sunny day! Its clearly a dog friendly pub too with lots of water bowls etc. We had mains and pudding. Both were delicious. Service was brilliant too. I will definitely return and recommend.

Popped in for a quick roast, like you do, and couldn't complain about a thing. Staff were friendly and helpful when we wanted something slightly different. I had the veggie roast with cauliflower cheese on the side. Very nice Had a lovely view from the table of the pond/lake. It was late afternoon on a Sunday and wasn't too busy but still had a good flow of people. I do recommend 👍

Great staff with excellent knowledge of the menu and extra information when we asked about the lake. We were all really impressed that they took the time to tell us what was happening and my son was happy that his question was answered into such detail. The food was tasty and the atmosphere as always really cosy and friendly. Great cappuccino and mini mango torte too!

Our waiter was an older gentleman, his name is possibly Nick from reading the other reviews but I can't remember and also didn't ask. He was very polite and had an answer for everything that we asked. It also looked like he was covering the floor of the whole restaurant and outside as well and seemed like he was the only one doing it. There was another waiter/waitress that I maybe saw once or twice but in no way covered the amount of work that our waiter did. He is a credit to your Pub!! I don't think he quite got our banter at first however he did obviously have a very long day as the place was so busy all day, he did son warm to us! We were told very quickly that they had been extremely busy throughout the day and there were a couple of things missing off the menu, we don't mind that it is to be expected and it can not be helped. We were also told that because of how busy it was that food might take a little longer to come out again we understand that's not a problem at least we were told up front. The food was amazing and it was lovely to eat with such a great view overlooking the pond. My only criticism is on the signature burger the beef brisket in the cheese sauce was a little weird. It tasted very smokey as if the beef had flavoured the cheese sauce from the description I was more expecting beef brisket slices and cheese sauce drizzled over. However this wasn't my meal so no big deal, I just wanted to try it. Over all very lovely visit and from reading other reviews I think people have too high an expectation of things that could very well be out of the pubs control and doesn't really reflect the pub or the team working there in anyway what so ever.

I visited this evening along with my partner and 2 little girls. It’s the 4th time we’ve been to Fishers Pond in the last month and we have had nothing but positive experiences, the staff go out of their way to make us feel welcome and are extremely child friendly. We are always greeted with smiles. Children’s menu is wonderful, with a wide variety of options for those fussy little ones! Service staff are really pleasant, this evening we were served by a very polite and warming young lady whom very clearly enjoys her job and seemed thoroughly motivated. Very attentive and well spoken. We were also served by a lovely older gentleman who was also a pleasure. Each time we leave, we always say we must return! Not to mention the delicious cocktails, dogs allowed, beautiful scenery and the option to dine in or out! Looking forward to trying the Sunday Roast! 5*

Our new favourite place! Food is amazing, tasty and fresh. I was really surprised with do juicy prawns skewers and tender beef in sandwich. Highly recommended to visit, view is stunning! We were served by Bev - kind and proffesional waitress. She care about you like a part of family. This was amazing lunch.

Beautiful settings by the lake. We came for dinner and sort of a rainy day, but I can envision a romantic dinner on the outside patio, weather permit. Food was very tasty and as for service personality great, which makes up for the time it takes to get the food/ drinks out. Be prepared for a 2,4 hour outing. (25min to get drinks, 40min to get main) Hot drinks and dessert came 30 min apart. I had the shrimp skewers, delicious and my friends all were very satisfied with the food. My only observation, Mango passion fruit tarte, is actually a fantastic Mango passion mousse, not a tarte.
