Lovely! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Decor is fab and coffee is beautiful! Need more places like this, although would happily walk every more often! Love all the local produce too. Drinks, jams, sauces, meats, sandwiches, frozen meat, biltong, eggs and much more!

I've been here 3 times now and every time I have come out not wanting to leave! The food and drinks are utterly delicious, so much so i have a hard time choosing what to have. The decor is lovely and rustic with a homely and comfy vibe and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the ethic of the shop with items sourced locally with produce also available to buy. Its a massive thumbs up from me 👍

Came here from brunch and it was fantastic. Portion size was perfect and the quality of the food was outstanding but all for a reasonable price. Coffee was great, makes Starbucks look like they're serving dirty puddle water. Totally worth a small walk out of the town centre to come here. Staff are super friendly which makes such a difference. Will definitely be back!

Cosy, rustic and homely place to eat. The owner is very hands-on and welcoming. (Sorry, I didn't get his name!) The best hospitality I've received in a long time (besides Rosie's Cafe in Boscombe). The food was delicious and freshly made. I had macaroni cheese with garlic ciabatta bread. The only criticism would be the garlic bread was very slightly too salty, however it was not so salty as to be inedible. I get the impression that had I cared enough to raise the issue, they would have replaced it with no problem. The food was served within 10 minutes approx. It is clean and tidy and aesthetically pleasing. Pro-tip: To make your visit even more memorable, ask the owner about his hand (if you are not squeamish).

Great coffee, amazing service and even better cakes and food. One of the pros of working from home at the moment is being able to pop down and grab a coffee when they're open.

What a great place, my daughter has a dairy allergy so eating out doesn't happen very often but the hog shack went above and beyond to cater for her, food was out of this world and very affordable prices. Will definitely be back.
