Incredible bakery with peng sourdough with the dankest crumb structure you've ever laid your eyes upon. Helpful friendly staff and incredible pastries - I've tried other bakeries in eastbourne and to the rise has the best sourdough bread for sure.

Awesome family run bakery. All the products are clearly skilfully made and there is a wide variety of vegan options including almond croissants….yes they do amazing laminated vegan pastry…..so good I’d challenge a Parisian to taste the difference. Eastbourne is lucky to have a bakery of this calibre.

I recently discovered To The Rise Bakery in Eastbourne, and I must say, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. This cozy little bakery may have limited seating, but it more than makes up for it with its incredible baked goods and delicious coffee. The moment you step inside The Rise Bakery, you are greeted by the aroma of freshly baked treats. The display case is filled with an array of mouthwatering pastries, cakes, and breads, all made with love and attention to detail. Each bite is a heavenly experience, with flavors that are rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced. The coffee at The Rise Bakery is equally impressive. Whether you prefer a smooth latte, a bold espresso, or a creamy cappuccino, their baristas know how to craft the perfect cup. The quality of the coffee beans shines through in every sip, and it pairs perfectly with their delectable baked goods. While seating may be limited, The Rise Bakery is the ideal place to stop by and grab something to go. Whether you're in need of a quick breakfast on the way to work or a sweet treat for an afternoon pick-me-up, their selection of baked goods is sure to satisfy any craving. The staff at The Rise Bakery are friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with recommendations or answer any questions. Their passion for baking and commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of the bakery. If you're in Eastbourne and looking for a place to indulge in incredible baked goods and enjoy a great cup of coffee, I highly recommend The Rise Bakery. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself or grab something delicious to take on the go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Utterly fantastic bakery. I’ve been many times and I’ve never had anything that wasn’t completely outstanding. Some have complained it’s too expensive, but compared to what? Massed produced, poor quality supermarket bakeries? The quality at To The Rise, greatly surpasses the small extra cost. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the location, as Terminus Road is somewhat depressing and not somewhere I enjoy being for very long. Grove Road or Carlisle Road would’ve been better options, but I’m guessing Terminus offered a shop, with a suitable kitchen. Anyway, you guys deserve every success, as what you’ve created is outstanding perfection. Congratulations!

Everything you read about this place is true. Is a cute, modern and fresh place with amazing food. Clearly lots of thought has gone into making this a great local bakery. I would recommend you trying anything they have to offer.

A true artisan bakers, crafting their produce with care, attention and passion This truly reflects on the overall output and quality I’m so glad they’ve opened a shop and are doing well with their business, much of what is passed off as baked goods these days quite frankly shouldn’t be sold as such You won’t have that issue here, all freshly baked in house and delicious If you have trouble deciding what to pick you’ll be spoilt for choice here as it’s all so good Cinnamon buns with icing are absolutely phenomenal Cardamom buns equally as epic And the bread, well if you like your loafs baked to perfection, this is the place to find them This can also be found at Bodega as they supply them with bread and bagels It’s top marks all round for this family run venture and I wish them every success

What a joy to find To The Rise! My wife popped in and spotted a vegan cinnamon bun and babka. It cost £5 for the pair and the price is well worth it! Despite being in business for just 2 years and opened just 4 weeks ago, it seems like they are veteran bakers. The cinnamon bun was perfectly spiced and the babka was deliciously chocolatey. A return visit is a must for more baked goodies!
