Have just come back from the cat cafe as a Mother's Day gift to me. The cafe is lovely warm and clean and the cats are beautiful and well behaved. We were served by a lovely lady who was polite, friendly and helpful. We all had great Hot Chocolates, Brownies and a Caramel slice. Lovely chilled out atmosphere too and the cats are very content. I was also presented with a bunch of Daffodils and a Happy Mother's Day which was a kind and thoughtful touch. Have booked to return in the summer.

Wonderful visit to the cat cafe today. All the cats are gorgeous and clearly well looked after. Plenty of places for them to retreat if they don't want to be bothered! Luckily for us they were very sociable , especially Tonic who allowed us to sit at her table - what a sweetheart ! Other patrons enjoying it too, really relaxing environment, so cats are not stressed, seems like their welfare is of utmost importance as it should be, friendly staff that clearly love the cats... ( well done new management) £3 entrance is great and drinks and cakes well priced. 1 hour 15 mins felt like a good amount of time, don't be shy about wandering about and saying hi to all the cats! Think this is a lovely place to unwind and meet friendly people. Glad i finally got to visit, it won't be my last!

We really loved this cat cafe, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the cats are confident and friendly. A few didn't really want to be stroked but they're still very happy to come and say hello, especially if you have food on the table! The staff are really friendly and the other guests were quiet and respectful of the cats. If you love just spending time with cats, you need to come here!

Have visited the cafe a few times through 2022 with friends and family and will continue to do so - it's totally fantastic! Lovely atmosphere, lovely cats and lovely staff. Nice just to chill for an hour, enjoy sugary treats and watch the cats roam around. Would recommend to anyone and the price is fair for the wonderful experience 🙂

I'm going to start by saying I'm not a cat lover and I have allergies. And it's for this reason we don't have a cat ourselves. Unfortunately my daughter loves cats so this was the perfect place to take her. As a café it holds its own, the addition of well cared for and friendly cats makes the experience extra special. I didn't suffer from any problems from being in the café surrounded by cats because it is so clean. We absolutely loved it and we will definitely be back. Me for the carrot cake and my daughter for the cats. An easy 10/10

I went to the Mad Hatter with two friends to round out our weekend reunion and we are so glad we went! There are 17 gorgeous cats to cuddle and play with while you enjoy some food. They offered a £5 deal where you get a hot drink and a slice of cake so we went for that. While they offer bigger meals, we wanted something small to maximize our time with the cats! There are toys for you to use to play with the cats and lots of vat beds and scratching towers so most of them are in the main part of the cafe. There is even one car who likes to follow you to the loo and try to sit on your lap and play with your hair. I personally thought it was hilarious and likely other cat lovers visiting would too, but thought I'd mention it Our slot was 50 minutes and entry was £5 per person, so in total it was £30 for three of us to have cake, coffee and spend time with loads of cats in a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely go again and I would certainly recommend it for fellow cat lovers.

I love this cat cafe, I have been twice now and still love it. Good food and drink and the hospitality is lovely. For all cat lovers out there book your place and go for a fun lunch. The cats are really friendly and inquisitive.

Loved the vintage theme, however the staff and the cats are what makes this place! Super friendly (both staff and cats!) and just something totally different to your typical cafe. Kids really enjoyed it and so did we. Really nice warm fruit scones too!

A nice little place. Staff there were really welcoming and made us feel at home. Drinks and snacks really reasonably priced, and thought the £3 entry fee was OK too. The only reason I'm not giving 5* is because of the children running riot. The second you get near a cat, a child appears and scares them away. The cats took to higher ground and looked like the whole thing was a chore for them. The cafe don't allow under 6s which I think helps but maybe still 6 year olds a bit young? Overall, a nice place to have a drink and see some cats.

Great place to go for a bit if you love cats. Best to book in advance because they're normally fully booked. Very reasonably priced and the cats are very friendly.

The cats were adorable, marmalade was honestly my favourite until he got fed up, but I really loved gin and tonic as they both were so friendly and so cute and they cuddled up together, the hospitality is great there, I do wish there was a bigger menu but I love the design of cats that come with the drinks. The cats were so cute and all had their own personalities, I would definitely go back there again just too see gin and tonic!! Aside all that it truely deserves 5 star!! (I’m not sure how to place photos on reviews so if you know please let me know)

I found this cafe accidentally when I was on the way to Waitrose. It’s in the morning and the cafe was not opened yet, so I decided to revisit the next day. I love this cafe. You will be surrounded by a lot of lovely cats. I ordered a Victoria sponge cake which is nice too. The food here is not expensive. But you have to pay £5 as entrance fee. And each session has 50 minutes only. It’s a bit expensive for me. No wifi for customers.

Was lovely but the cats are overly friendly and like to be alone. Nice idea though and kids did enjoy it. Service in great and super friendly. Good value food and drink.

What a lovely calming cafe. The cats are beautiful and have varying personalities and fur length to suit all. You may wander around to stroke and play with paws dangling off wall beds...if you dare! Lovely proper mug of tea and best scone had in ages! Owners always on hand to tell you about cats. Watch out for a ginger cat, he's a milky paw dunker! Will definitely visit again next time we in Eastbourne, thankyou.

Amazing place! Had so much fun with the people I came with, just sitting down strokin' some cats while having food and a coffee! Highly recommended. This is what all cafe's should be like :D Decor and theme is amazing as well! Love the whole vibe!
