What a great addition to Beatty Road! We ordered online through just eat but now iv found you can order directly we will be doing that in the future! We have tried a number of dessert places over the last year or so and this Is by far the best, the portions where generous, pricing was slightly cheaper than competitors but really good value for money considering the prices of ingredients in this current climate! Unfortunately they were out of bubble gum sauce which was absolutely fine, they went out of there way to contact us to ask if we would like an alternative & to apologise. Most places wouldn't go to that much trouble for such a minor detail

First time trying Flamingo and it was perfect, the tables, chairs were all clean and shiny, the menu was clear to understand, the cakes and where the food is prepared is in view and perfect presentation & layout.
The owner was friendly and had good customer service & very welcoming
The Jacket Potato was delicious, the potato was large, lovely skin, fresh and perfectly cooked, the chicken on top was so tasty and the lemon dressing went very well together, lovely presentation. The salad was so green and fresh, good portion size for jacket potato & salad.
For dessert I had a Carrot Cake, great portion size, soo delicious and sliced into 3 large servings.
I had this all for take out, it was packaged well in nice brown boxes that kept everything together and warm, nice strong cardboard type bag, better than other places by far because others use cheap plastic which causes food to spill. Good amount of napkins included as well.
Can't wait to try again :)

Everything is homemade. Cakes, scones, sandwich fillings, you name it. The guy looking after us was super attentive and did really well considering he was the only one working.
Finally, go for the afternoon tea if you can. Definitely worth it for the price.

Good hot food , lovely clean cafe, freshly cooked food , quick service would definitely return to this lovely little cafe .
