Staff here are generally friendly and helpful, the range of stock is very good with stationery that will brighten any child’s pencil case. A great magazine section too, that contains something to cover most hobbies. The post office is Eastbourne’s main post office. It’s well staffed and offers a great service.

We are really having trouble with post offices in Eastbourne, they are becoming few and far between. However since the main office in town moved inside Smith's it is a delight to use. Still the same lengthy queues of course but more efficient and modern. In a shop that is generally expensive it's a great way to get footfall for Smiths as the PO is at the back of the store. Only downside is no parking for a quick visit.

Good size store with a Post Office at the back, they have a nice range of books, maps, stationary, cards, magazines & newspapers, plus so much more, manned & self serve tills to make your purchases.

My local WHS has recently gone under change to add the local post office into the building, this has made the shop in general busier and noisier, quite often I find myself having to squeeze past other people, and when browsing magazines or books I often get barged into or have to keep shimmying out of the way. In general I can always find what I need in WHS, and the post office in general are helpful even when I'm utterly failing at using the self service machine.

Used post office area, not too busy, self service all working, queue to manned counters blocks the envelope shelving a bit when busy but seemed to move along quickly

It's very hard now to find the magazine your looking for, because they're squeezed into about 3 or 4 racks. In a busy often congested area. This can be annoying as it's the only place in Eastbourne that has the less common mags. As there is a bookshop a few doors away maybe less books and more racks for mags? So it's easier to see what your looking for and less of a messy. Music mags stuffed into a tiny corner, where people are trying to pass. Just makes me get frustrated and leave without buying.

This serves also as the Town Centre post office I mainly go there to use the post office. It also sells the usual range of items supplied by WH Smith . The main pay point is near the entrance there are also self service machines. Books magazines and newspapers are available as may be expected together with cards and stationery. I tend to browse a bit more in the nearby Waterstones when it comes to buying books as it has a greater range but still look in WH Smith's as well. The local WH Smith is now a dual purpose building. The main post office in the town was closed and transferred to W H Smith's in the last year or so. In all a useful shop providing necessary services
